The accommodations were very comfortable, clean and well equipped. While we didn’t choose cook, there was everything needed to do so. The host was very attentive and helpful. We would certainly recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful place, very well kept. It has a big garden where you can enjoy a nice breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. 500 meters from the marvelous lower Verdon canyon trail.

Bastide Du Calalou is located a 30-minute drive from the Gorges du Verdon and a 20-minute drive from the Sainte-Croix Lake.

We spent a night here as we walked through during a walking holiday on the GR. Clean, comfortable room and bed. Lovely dinner and breakfast. The village is quiet and calm. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Everything! The rooms were clean and so is the shared spaces. The hospitality of the owner and the staff is on point. Amazing place, can’t recommend enough!

We loved our stay in the container room! All was great: bedding, bathroom, space. The breakfast was amazing, with everything home-cooked (except maybe for the butter) and delicious: pastries, fruit, crepes, jams, eggs. We loved the setting, the care and kindness of the hosts, and we would love to return.
