Another late eve find- clean, comfortable, Wi-Fi, hot shower, all we needed!

The room was very nice with lovely bedding. A shower would have been easier for us as the tub was hard to get up from and there was no way to hang the hand held shower.

I loved the location as it was walkable to all the sites in central Bayeux. Ample free parking too! The breakfast was a good assortment of continental favourites. The staff was outstanding; always helpful. The accommodation was super clean, but for some reason, my room had a bit of a plumbing back up smell. It wasn’t horrible, just noticeable. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The property is fairly central to tourist sights, and / or within a good distance to other places of interest. The dinners are reasonably priced to eat at the hotel, breakfast was a variety for most dietary requirements. Staff are friendly. The staff member who stood out the most to us is Ahmed - 10/10. Attentive, polite, friendly, and nothing was a problem.

The location was awesome. Very convenient to everything we wanted to do.

Upon arriving, we found the Hotel under construction and we were accommodated at their sister property the Belle Normandy. The same ownership has both hotels. We were treated like royalty. The rooms were large and brand new. The breakfast was excellent and the staff helped us a lot. We do not speak French and they helped a ton. we went to restaurants they recommended and had wonderful dinners. They helped us set up a tour of the Battle Fields and made sure we were comfortable at all times. No question we would go back to this same property.

Lovely clean room , staff were really friendly. Hotel room layout explained by a brief tour which was really welcoming. Car park was secure with a code to enter and leave.

An absolutely idyllic setting. Close to all the WWII historic sites. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. The room was clean and well appointed. The restaurant food and service was 5 star.

Best locations super friendly staff!!

This was a stunning, peaceful property. The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We loved the food in both restaurants and the bar was very creative.

Staff were helpful, room was very clean and enough space for two and very well located. Short walk from train station. Nice little courtyard for a sit down and cocktail. Would highly recommend.

We spent 3 weeks in France and stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels. Villa Lara was our favorite by far. It's a feel-good place and the staff is exceptional.

Location was great and staff so helpful and friendly.

Great location close to all attractions and restaurants.

An old building brought up to modern standards. Very pleasant staff. Breakfast was very good. Bar is small, but we were there in February and in the summer it might be outside and less limited. The story of the place is great- it used to be a boys boarding school closed for a long time and a local guy bought it from the city and brought it up to modern standards. The first night we were there an alumnus (a local) was there with his wife for his anniversaire. He remembered it fondly, though he said the bath water was always cold.....
