The location in Saint Fargeau could not have been better. The host, although not present because of family problems, was most helpful by txt and telephone to make sure everything happened as it should do, such as gaining access to the property and ensuring breakfast was organised. The building was all you could expect from an old French house where Joan of Arc reputedly stayed. It is also ideal to visit the Guedelon project which is only a few miles away and was the reason for our stay.

The property was so beautiful, finished to a high standard and very clean. We used the hot tub and the BBQ. Even dressing gowns were provided. The beds were very comfortable and being in the middle of nowhere meant it was very quiet. The host was there when we arrived and handover was very easy and pleasant. We stayed with our two children aged seven and ten. Can highly recommend!

Michel was wonderful to interact with, and very accommodating. He was ideal in this respect. And his home is really unusual and special--full of character, and even mystery in how one approaches the front door (my children loved this). If you want something standardized and hotel-like, stay away; but if you want something memorable, that clearly is someone's home, and that is very well equipped (esp. with having 2 bathrooms), you'll be very happy you booked Michel's home. And the location is perfect for visiting the Guedelon castle reconstruction.

Beautiful location in a small and charming village in the Burgundy area. Jean Luc provided us a very warm welcome and help for a restaurant reservation. We (and our dog) had an immediate homely feeling. The breakfast next morning in the beautiful garden was a real treat. The apartment is tastefully decorated, cozy and spacious.
