Everything about our visit to Castellu d’Orezza was amazing. The hosts were incredible, and if you’re seeking a secluded escape from the fast-paced world, this place is perfect. My husband has food allergies, and every effort was made to accommodate him. You feel like part of a family from the moment you arrive, thanks to the warm hospitality, delicious food, and modernized accommodations that still evoke a sense of history. We even went on a 12k walk, and Julia, the adorable house dog, joined us. My husband still talks about her! We absolutely loved every aspect of our visit.

We were upgraded to the one bedroom apt which was much better than the room. It has a small kitchen with all the amenities. Free coffee. Fridge & freezer. Nice garden & pool. The apt also had secure private parking. Traditional old house but nicely maintained & comfortable.

We enjoyed the location far away from the very touristy city of Corte. It was quiet and very peaceful. Patrick, the man who runs the place was very kind and a good conversationalist. Our room was located up a steep wood ladder-like going up into a treehouse. Breakfast was adequate-homemade jams.

We’ve traveled all over the world and I can safely say this is one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed in. Very comfortable place, even though you are enclosed in walls centuries old, a magnificent view, hiking trails nearby, complete facilities to cook your meals, a nice little pool, and great hosts! We are already planning on a future trip back!

This is a little family hotel owned by a beautiful friendly couple. Hotel is located 30 minute drive away from Corte, right next to a small mountain river and is surrounded by mountains. We were greeted by the owner who showed us into our room and explained everything. Rooms are very cozy, light and stylishly designed with lots of little touches. Breakfast was super delicious: homemade pancakes with homemade jam, served on a sunny terrace with a beautiful view. Highly recommended if you need a place to stay while exploring Corsica.
