Fantastic apartment. Everything you want on a ski holiday. Ease of access. 5 minutes walk to the lift. Modern and clean. Ski locker next to the lift. All the handy small things that many other apartment rentals are lazy with. There was kitchen roll, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, salt & pepper etc etc. One of the best apartments we have stayed with have stayed in over the last 20 years.

The property was just fantastic, located just off the main street in Val Claret with easy access to shops. It was possible to ski off the slopes but to get to the slopes did need a 5 min walk. Interior is modern, well appointed, and comfortable. All amenities are present (the oven also functions as a microwave). Just very nice place to stay.

We weren't sure exactly where the apartment was located, but on arrival we were pleasantly surprised to see just how close it was to the nearest chairlifts (3-4 min walk to Bollin, Funniculare entrance, Lanches, Tichot and Tuffs), and literally next to the Sherpa (supermarket). With Val Claret being quite small, it was only a 5 minute walk into the main area of bars and restaurants, and so again, the location was fantastic. We have stayed in a number of apartments before in Val Claret, but this was certainly the best in terms of comfort and facilities (microwave, coffee machine, full complement of crockery and glassware, and the quality of the kitchen units. These apartments are always quite small, but it was a good use of the space and was really comfortable for the four of us. The welcome pack of a few coffee pods and a jar of honey was a nice touch.

The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shopping options nearby. Transportation is easy, and the facilities are quite complete, including a fitness center and a cinema, which is a nice bonus. However, I found it confusing that the movie shown in the cinema was different from the one I had purchased a ticket for. Additionally, it can be a bit noisy at night, which may affect light sleepers. Overall, a convenient stay with good amenities, but there are a few issues that could be improved

We like very much the skiing.

We like very much the skiing. The food was ok but the rental apartment condition was really bad. It is a shame in a just so expensive ski resort to exist such apartments.I recommend Tignes if you are an intermediate skier and your only interest is to skiing in a such a huge ski area.

For skiing, Tignes is strategically placed so you have access to many of the best rides in the area ride outside your door. If you prefer more of a shopping and dining experience, Val d'Isere is a better choice.

The biggest thing for us is the height of Val Claret and the ski area of Tignes, it's pretty much as snow sure as you can get these days. This our 4th time here and on 3 of those visits we have had powder days (one an entire week). The other visit was during a very poor season period across the entire Alps, however Tignes still had more than enough snow for a fun week. Tignes also has very well looked after parks and boarder cross tracks for varying skill levels, which makes sure there is always something to do no matter your ability. Great views, pistes, powder, parks and boarder cross, something for everyone.

Great location!

Great location! Easy to ski over to Val d'Isere and interestingly, a lot of the green runs are at the top of the mountains! Plenty to do in Tignes centre and surrounding villages like La Lac and Lavachet have plenty to do.

One of the best ski resorts in my mind (world wide).

One of the best ski resorts in my mind (world wide). A lot of great slopes, superb infrastructure. If you like engaged skiing and enjoy black runs (double black diamond for the US equivalent) then you need to come here.

The hotel is very stylish and well laid out. The staff is extremely friendly and did everything to make us comfortable. As an example: I parked my electric car at the hotel (valet service) and they even charged my car without me asking. There is an excellent pool and sauna area in case you don’t want to ski or if you want to relax after skiing. The restaurant offers a great view of the slopes and mountains. The ski shop at the hotel was also very helpful and made it easy for us to pick the best rental equipment.

The hotel is in a great location in Tignes Val Claret with excellent access both to the slopes (the nearest lift, which is about 50 metres from the ski room door, is Tufs) and to restaurants and the main drag (via the Bollin elevator). The room was simple but perfectly servicable, with a decent kitchen. It did exactly what we needed it to do basically.

Breakfast was great, lounge area to relax in by the bar was nice, access to the spa after a long day of skiing, own ski locker facilities to heat your own boots was great. Great views from the room too. Parking on site (there is a charge, but for convenience it was worth it) - You have to contact the hotel directly to sort this.
