We returned after 21 years! On both visits, we used the hotel as a last night stopover before the ferry, on the way back from skiing in the Alps. The building is a friendly family run hotel with a sense of gravitas, linking the past and the present. The owner has been there for 40 years and takes real pride in the business, which is something of an institution. The setting is reassuringly familiar somehow, typically French, with a sense of history and timelessness. It's comfortable, unique, relaxed, and homely, with a traditional feel, in a great historic setting, but with everything you'd expect from a modern hotel. Secure parking on the premises takes all the trouble out of visiting the urban centre.

What a wonderful apartment in a beautiful setting. The apartment had everything one could need. There was also secure parking for motorcycles in a courtyard. So very motorcycle friendly. Would recommend.

The attention to detail, the comfortable beds and the friendly host are unbeatable. Merci Pierre. I will definitely come back. It was easy to find a spot to park my car and the Maison Séraphine is located in the nice old part of town.
