Very nice B&B made up of a beautifully renovated farmhouse, with a large garden and very clean swimming pool. The breakfast was delicious with homemade products (jams, yogurt, ...) and à la minute prepared treats. Five days a week (not on Tuesdays and Thursdays), guests can enjoy a delicious table d'hôtes dinner for a reasonable price, but unfortunately we stayed there on a Tuesday. The owners made an excellent suggestion to go to the little village of Châtelaillon-Plage along the Atlantic Ocean where we enjoyed having dinner with our feet in the sand. Our room was very nice, excellent mattress, great bathroom and very silent air conditioning unit.

Excellent breakfast, brought to our room. The swimming pool was great. And the pool side service for glasses of wine and beer was a great surprise. the the owners could not have made us feel more at home.

Everything. Olivier allowed us to check in early, gave us an early breakfast, the room and property were pristine and beautiful, the bed comfortable, breakfast amazing.

A Château worth returning to. The attention to detail throughout the place is inspiring. From the wonderfully warm hosts through the great breakfast selection all the way to the beautifully calming room with a super comfy bed and a gorgeous view of the surrounding nature. We had everything we needed. And for those of us needing to work on vacation, the wifi didn't let me down. We are definitely planning a return to La Rochelle and Château de la Grimenaudière is one of the main reasons for this.

Lisa and Laurent are very hospitable. We love the coziness, warmth and the beauty of the room. Our dog really had a great time playing with their dog and admiring their horse and donkey. It's such a wonderful place to stop over when you have a dog😁❤️. Surely recommendable!!!
