Booked 1 night for my boyfriends birthday, I had requested a little birthday decoration for our arrival. Was an absolute pleasure to walk in to a balloon & bottle of prosecco! Food in the restaurant downstairs was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend! Room itself was gorgeous! Facilities were great! Tea/coffee, biscuits. Shower gel/shampoo and conditioner provided. Also had ironing board & hair dryer.

This train was wonderful, better than any boring hotel room. It had lots of quirky this about and never shook once in the high winds and storm we had. It's also a very good location for helmsley Town.

This was a last minute booking because of an unexpected change of plans and I was very lucky the Garden Cottage was available.
