Really characterful accommodation nestled in a nice spot, really close to the South Downs and with good accessibility to the road network. We are a family of four (plus a dog) and found the setup was perfect and we all slept well. I imagine that this place is even nicer in the summer, as there was an outside area to sit and even a fire stack / stove too. Bryony was very friendly and hospitable. There was help on hand if needed with anything. Very helpful local information in the welcome book, left inside the cottage. Also a nice touch to have tea, coffee and milk in the fridge! I could see us having used the treatments on offer too, had our trip not been so focussed on visiting nearby family. What a great set up though, for families, couples and groups of friends alike!

Perfect location for the ferry. Room was clean, modern, comfy and quiet even though it was on a main road. A friendly welcome The restaurant had tasty food and a nice atmosphere. We are and slept well We had to depart early so did not try the breakfast.
