WOW. Breakfast was beyond expectation. Absolutely wonderful , every ingredient cooked fresh and to perfection by Pauline. Also a lovely display of fresh fruit and cereal. etc Pauline served a magnificent breakfast . Pauline was a WONDERFUL HOST. helpful, attentive, accommodating and could not do enough for guests. They were very friendly, and great hosts! A lovely basket of breakfast choices and fruit was there when we entered. The small space is nicely divided and decorated in a charming way. The beds are comfortable. Don’t forget to duck when going through the hobbit door!

The rooms were lovely. The owners were lovely. The breakfast was delicious. Ele was so helpful in finishing up an important family errand. We can’t say enough good things about it.

What a cosy place to stay! It is indeed an old cottage and our room looked out over the loch. The accommodations are outstanding with a well appointed bedroom and bathroom. The bed was so comfortable! There is a communal sitting room with tons of information about Scotland. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming and are very knowledgeable about Scottish history and area sights. Breakfast is served in a bright dining room overlooking the water with bird feeders attracting local birds to the garden outside. Breakfast choices were extensive and made to order. You are out in the countryside, so I recommend you have a car and the cottage does have free parking. This is the perfect way point in your travels through Scotland.

The place was amazing. Lovely room. Great view of the water. The breakfast included haggis and kippers for the adventurous! The town is tiny, which itself is lovely. The castle is also beautiful.
