What a lovely place to stay when visiting Hadrian's Wall! We had a beautiful view overlooking the river and bridge. The room was large and comfortable. Brian, the owner, was very kind and generous with his time and allowed us to use the laundry facilities knowing that we'd been traveling for weeks. He's a fun and interesting conversationalist as well! We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Everything. Lovely little pub on my way to complete Hadrian's Wall path. The room was perfect for me, plenty of space and a very nice bathroom. The service was 10/10, amazingly helpful and considerate. The pint after a long day's walk was spot on. Fantastic breakfast as well, with them being willing to accommodate what I needed.

The bothy was cosy and comfortable and everything we had hoped for. The stormy weather added to the pleasure of sitting in front of the log burner and watching old Christmas movies! Our hosts Harry and Louise were very pleasant and helpful and went the extra mile by providing logs on our first night with Harry cutting them up during a bad storm. A big thank you for that! The tranquility and beautiful scenery completed our weekend.
