The staff were very welcoming and friendly and genuinely interested in my experience.

Overlooking the Market Square in the small town of Masham, this charming inn is set within a fine Georgian building of tremendous character, built in the second half of the 18th century.

Lovely country pub! The owners were very friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us! So honest that booking.com had charged us for a city tax and they deducted for us and knocked our bill down for £117 to £108! The room was absolutely beautiful, recently renovated to a very high standard. They are in a separate building behind the pub so was lovely and quiet. The bed was super comfortable; so much so we were checking the mattress and pillows for branding because we want the same for home 😂Hubby loved the shower, very spacious and also finished to a high standard. The food was absolutely delicious! My chicken Parmo was *chefs kiss* and hubby really enjoyed his scampi. Everything was homemade, freshly cooked and very tasty. Same with breakfast. We both had a full English breakfast which was very filling and delicious. They had a singer on that evening who was very good and was nice to have some entertainment before bed. We will definitely be back in the near future!

Featuring a bar, White Bear at Bedale is located in Bedale in the North Yorkshire region, 16 km from Lightwater Valley Theme Park and 19 km from Richmond Castle.

The hotel has been given a bad reputation for the previous owner and we were so pleasantly surprised to find everything exceeded our expectations. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and lovely, the rooms were really nice and clean. No faults!

Picturesque Yorkshire Village with The Countyman's Inn as the focal point of village life. The pub looks from the inside like you would expect an old English pub to be , with a few modern vibes ( german beer). The food is good old yorkshire grub , but more modern food is available too. And it's all yummy , especially the breakfast. The rooms are quirky but clean and have everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay here , and the service is superb.

A beautiful guest house in Masham, within walking distance of everything in the village! Owners (and their gorgeous dogs) were welcoming and friendly. Jude provided us with a delicious breakfast each morning, along with suggestion of places to go. Within walking distance of both the breweries in Masham. 🥰
