Location was perfect- right by the high street. Staff were super accommodating, they even gave us some extra condiments to go with our late night chippy order. Really generous and friendly. Breakfast was lovely

The old Forge is an old building but very well maintained and we were very comfortable . We appreciated our host's generosity and the delicious cooked breakfast. We were the only guests there as the hosts had to leave the next morning so had not taken more bookings. In deference to our early booking and the fact we were from Australia and possibly in the middle of our trip, they let our booking stand. We really appreciated this. A real positive for this accommodation is that there is parking at the premises, and it is free. (Often "parking available " means paid parking in a council car park.)

It is like home from home - the photos on Booking do not do it justice. The kitchen is fitted with fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. The bathroom has an excellent power shower. Plus the whole decor is superbly done. The hot tub was fantastic and easy to operate. Sarah kept in touch beforehand and arranged for bags of wood to be there for our arrival. The location is stunning and so picturesque.

The location, it’s so handy for the high street, the public parking and yet has a small garden to relax in. The house itself is beautifully and tastefully restored and is warm, cosy and equipped with everything you could possibly need to make your holiday complete. Well done This was my second visit and I plan more next year.
