The property was very clean and comfortable. The location was great with lots of good restaurants close by. Free parking was available within a hundred yards of the property. Good access to the river bank and town centre. Made contact with the owner, who was very friendly and approachable. Dealt with a small problem quickly and efficiently.

It was a family run business and they were really lovely people. The lady helping(Wendy?)was brilliant. A lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was spot on! The evening meal was delicious and home made. The room was nice and clean with a good size bathroom. Definitely somewhere we would stay again

The caravan was a step up from a typical static, with more modern decor and better-quality furniture than you’d usually expect. The bed was comfortable, and the space felt clean and well put together. While it’s still a caravan, it’s been done really nicely and makes for a great place to stay. It was also great to be able to bring our two dogs for free, as many places tend to charge extra for that. I will be definitely be back!

Everything was great, such a super accommodation to stay, in a quiet village and the coffee shop next door Guru had lovely cakes. The beautiful places of Bamburgh & Castle, Holy Island/Lindisfarne Castle, Craster/Dunstanburgh Castle, Alnmouth, Alnwick Castle, Amble, Low Newton by the Sea, Cocklawburn beach & Embleton beach, St Abbs & North Berwick/Bass Rock are a must see in Scotland which is a 1 hour drive from the accommodation. I recommend the cafe called the Drift on the cliff overlooking Bass Rock is an amazing view. Also Eyemouth, Dunbar and of course the Northern Lights.

We are golfers, so were able to play 3 courses and visit the multitude of other attractions in Northumberland-Bamburgh Castle, Chillingham Castle, Berwick on Tweed, the Tweed Valley(Melrose and Kelso). Worth getting the Historic Houses membership to visit the many houses they represent-Alnwick, Chillingham, Floors Castle, etc. Miles of beaches, and of course, the Farne Islands with their hundreds of thousands of seabirds. Don't miss the Grace Darling museum is Bamburgh.
