We liked an awful lot about this place and are already planning when we can return! This is a beautiful cottage which is equipped really well and is located in the most stunning location. The balcony overlooking the hills with cute neighbours (baa). The bed was comfy which is important after a long day exploring! The cottage is really well located for chasing waterfalls, scenic hikes, cafes, pubs, and reaching market towns. The local people in the area were friendly and welcoming. It was just what we needed to relax and recharge away from our busy jobs and lives. The welcome Prosecco and Yorkshire crisps was a lovely touch too (thank you).

Grinton is a tiny village with just the local pub, which is also a very good restaurant. Reeth has a few small shops and there is a lovely cafe just over the bridge in Grinton, towards Reeth. For bigger shops, Richmond and Leyburn are around a 10 minute drive away.
