Friendly helpful staff, great location and facilities, spotlessly clean. Lovely little extra touches like fresh milk and water in the fridge in my room, a welcoming complimentary cup of coffee on arrival and fresh flowers on the breakfast table. All these made the stay so much more pleasurable, I will definitely stay again.

The staff were exceptionally well traiined, respectful and helpful in all matters related to our stay. The shuttle service was A1. Our self catering cottage was imacculate and we were upgraded at no extra charge because of a dishwasher leak, prior to our arrival. The food service in the restaurant was satisfactory, though helpings for seniors were too large.

The pool was a real swimming pool, so you could actually swim, temperature was fine. It's in an adjacent building, so you walk 10m outside. Our twin Room was big and comfortable. Good bathroom. Soft beds. Friendly staff. Good parking. Breakfast buffet with plenty of choice (full English and continental, croissants, blueberry muffins, yogurt). We were happy with dinner, too. Unfortunately there was no British beer/cider, only international. They were repainting inside, so the house is old but well taken care of. We felt a bit like royalty staying in a manor. Beautiful and well kept garden/park.

It was perfect for what we wanted, could come and go as we wanted, parking was tight but ok, very comfortable and clean, we did not eat in, but it was there if we wanted it, surprisingly no noise with the pub down stairs, we would recommend it for any one wanting a base to explore from or use like us as somewhere to stop with family near by
