Easy access to Bradford for the tv and film museum which is free, and to Saltaire. Bolton Abbey a short drive away with long walks and lovely scenery. Ilkley has a very good range of nice restaurants to eat in.
Beautiful town. Very easy to get around and park. Fantastic location to reach the best of Yorkshire including Malham Cove, Bolton Abbey, Fountains Abbey, Ingleborough etc.
Great facilities with good selection of restaurants including family friendly staples such as Pizza Express and bakeries and coffee shops. Good for shopping if you get the chance, range of boutique independents and chains such as White Stuff, Phase Eight. There is a Betty's tea room and some nice book shops and plenty of banks and cash machines.
Beautiful countryside. Many small towns and villages to visit. Ilkley Moor and the Cow and Calf rocks and rock climbing are iconic tourist attractions.
The town has some pleasant gardens and cafes. Close to other major towns and cities. Parking can be a problem, especially at weekend and in summer. Ilkley has a number of great concerts during the year. Great for a weekend getaway.

Excellent for those who want to walk on Ilkley Moor with or without a hat! Other walks near the river are less challenging. Plenty of cafes, tea rooms (including Betty's) bars and shops. Train station within a short distance from town centre.

We personally like ilkley, good location to catch train into Leeds city, no worries in driving and parking then.
Nice to have a little treat at Betty's.
Plenty of places to eat from all types of budget.
Quite a few nice independent shops.
Also lots of hills and paths for walking and plenty of fresh air.

Ilkley is in a lovely area with lots to see & do within a 30min drive, Leeds, Harrogate, skipton to name a few. Good walking area i.e. cow & calf, Middleton woods. Ilkley itself has plenty of small up market shops as well as a mix of the usual charity & every day shops. A good selection of pubs & eateries including "Betty's" tea rooms. It also has nice gardens, swimming pool & lido.
“Hosts were very welcoming and the apartment was 'home from home''. We often visit Ilkley and would certainly rebook. I loved the
Position, so central for everything yet quiet and near to my beloved Ilkley Moors”
“Cosy, clean and relaxing - it was an ideal location as a base for exploring the midlands area of England and provided a private and secluded location.
It was a lovely location and nearby Ilkley which we enjoyed.”
“Room was lovely and bright, even if we didn't have a view of the lovely Ilkley Moor. It was clean and offered the space for the four of us to sleep comfortably. In fact because it was velux windows we slept later as they were black out blinds.
Hotel is above a fantastic country pub that offers great food.
Location is good to explore the Yorkshire Dales.
Breakfast was very good and what was on offer was excellent for continental breakfast.”
