Situated in the middle of the scenic village of Invermoriston, family-run Bracarina House Bed & Breakfast & Caledonian Studio sits right on the path of the Great Glen Way, one of Scotland's National... Our host was fantastic and extremely friendly!! The rooms were put together with thought and very clean. Breakfast was amazing as well with vegetarian options offered.

Lovely quiet cottage with loads of character. Spotless and with all you need to have a great self catering stay.
Set in Invermoriston in the Highlands region, Forest Glen Holiday Park offers accommodation with free private parking. A beautiful place, nicely decorated. Hiking paths near the cabin. We enjoyed very much the nature around the house and the tranquility of the place. Very friendly and helpful lady at the reception, thank you very much for all your help.
Loch Ness Highland Cottages with partial Loch ViewCottages are located at the edge of a forest, 1 minute walk from Loch Ness. There is free parking and free WiFi. Cottage was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Ali the housekeeper was extremely helpful, friendly and on hand close by for any needs throughout our stay.
A 30-minute walk from Loch Ness and directly on the Great Glen Way route, the Craik Na Dav B&B is situated in natural woodland with views of Sron Na Muic Mountain opposite. Everything really, the location is excellent and there are bird feeders where birds come to feed themselves. The room was really cosy and the breakfast was to die for. The owner's company was great and it felt like we knew them for a long time
Loved everything about it!! Wonderful hosts. Really friendly, kind and helpful from booking through to the stay. Nothing too much trouble. The studio apartment we stayed in was absolutely spotless and well aired. Really comfy beds and sofa. Very well appointed / well supplied kitchen too (we picked up lovely food for our stay from a decent sized M&S foodhall a few miles away). Bathroom was great too. It's located in a brilliant spot and was perfect for our trip. I would recommend Lann Dearg to anyone. Would definitely book again if in the area, without hesitation. The best of it might actually have been the delight of hearing SO much birdsong!! Birds, like Bees seem to have declined a huge amount since my childhood (I'm 50 and based in England as a child and for the last 10 years) and this was just fantastic to hear. Saw a few birds on the lawn I've not seen for a very long time too. Just loved it. Oooh and the night sky!!
Its on a cross road with rd to inverness and kyle of lochalsh gateway to isle of skye great river views its also right on the great glen way so if you enjoy walking its all there it has all the scenery and a great variety of wild birds crak na dav is on my must do again list the hosts made me very welcome 👏
Invermoriston is a very interesting place to visit , with the ness close by and many other interesting things to see and find out . We recommend , give enough time to see the place and find out about the history as its unique to the Highlands.
“The Hostel is on a beautiful location right next to the loch and even from the bedroom room you had a wow view. They have a huge kitchen and a very nice terrace, you can even go down and find another place down at the loch to sit and enjoy the view! hayden guy from the reception was very kind
The house is very clean and well looked after. The bedroom was quiet, spacious with a large en-suite and had a very comfortable bed. The hostess was helpful and made sure I had a booking at the only local hotel for an evening meal. I found it a very pleasant place to stay as a stop over on a cycle tour.
The indoor terrace/sunroom was absolutely brilliant. We spent a lot of time out there playing cards with the kids with a sublime view! Although comfortable, the cottage could definitely do with some TLC. A coat of paint and ensuring all lights work would do wonders for the property!
The location is excellent. Right on Loch Ness, the view from my room in the morning was absolutely gorgeous. I just wish I had more time to enjoy the location rather than having to rush back to Inverness. The private room was very small, but right next to the shower, so it was easy to know when it was free, which was great. The common room downstairs is spacious and has a pool table for entertainment. Reasonably priced beers/ciders too which was great.
Lyn and Tom were great. Lyn met us on arrival, showed us around and told us about some local walks/things to do. The area is quiet with beautiful views, perfect for recharging. Invermoriston and Fort Augustus are a 5 minute drive away. The cottage was perfect for the three of us, plenty of room, everything was super clean and fresh.
Stunning beautiful place. Location is wonderful but you need a car to help you get around. Lovely walks from the accommodation and scenery to die for. Both Pat and Tom are wonderful and will do anything for you. We will definately return in the future. Thank you for a lovely time
The ladies who run this B&B are lovely and extremely dog friendly. Good choice at breakfast, and local pub restaurant only a few minutes walk away. We only stayed 1 night on our way to the Isle of Skye, and would defiantly return if we were in the area again.
The location was excellent the log cabins were amazing with everything you would need for a holiday, in fact I dont think my dogs are happy to be home as they loved walking in Invermoriston and the area around it.
I really liked this hotel it had a lovely atmosphere. The staff were warm and welcoming and very helpful. We had dinner and breakfast and both meals were very nice. Our room was bright and very well appointed.
Hosts were friendly, great wealth of knowledge of what to see and do. They enjoy telling about the history of Scotland. Breakfast was delicious!
Good location . Near Great Glen Way and had a good meal at Glenmoriston Arms Hotel .
Fantastic hosts, great walks, spacious up market accommodation
Invermoriston is the best place to stay in Loch Ness area.
