Forest Glen Holiday Park features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Invermoriston. Sue, the owner, is so nice! We arrived later than we were supposed to and she waited for us. Then, she gave us a lot of information about the area and what to do. I really recommend to go there! It’s calm, it’s clean, and id you are lucky to have a clear night, just go outside and look at the sky. There’s so many stars!
Darroch View self catering cottage is in the tranquil village of Invermoriston, by Loch Ness and is 38 km from Inverness. Situated in the heart of the Great Glen, free private parking is offered. Shame we stayed only one night as we continued walking the next day. Huge cottage with a lot of space, would have liked to stay longer!
A 30-minute walk from Loch Ness and directly on the Great Glen Way route, the Craik Na Dav B&B is situated in natural woodland with views of Sron Na Muic Mountain opposite. Everything really, the location is excellent and there are bird feeders where birds come to feed themselves. The room was really cosy and the breakfast was to die for. The owner's company was great and it felt like we knew them for a long time
Situated in the middle of the scenic village of Invermoriston, family-run Bracarina House & Caledonian Studio sits right on the path of the Great Glen Way, one of Scotland's National Long Distance... Hosts were friendly, great wealth of knowledge of what to see and do. They enjoy telling about the history of Scotland. Breakfast was delicious!
Located in Invermoriston in the Highlands region, Glen Croft Cottage has a patio and lake views. This holiday home features a garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free private parking. We arrived very late and Sue was amazing as she waited up to welcome us to the property.

Invermoriston is a very interesting place to visit , with the ness close by and many other interesting things to see and find out . We recommend , give enough time to see the place and find out about the history as its unique to the Highlands.
“The Hostel is on a beautiful location right next to the loch and even from the bedroom room you had a wow view. They have a huge kitchen and a very nice terrace, you can even go down and find another place down at the loch to sit and enjoy the view! hayden guy from the reception was very kind
The house is very clean and well looked after. The bedroom was quiet, spacious with a large en-suite and had a very comfortable bed. The hostess was helpful and made sure I had a booking at the only local hotel for an evening meal. I found it a very pleasant place to stay as a stop over on a cycle tour.
The indoor terrace/sunroom was absolutely brilliant. We spent a lot of time out there playing cards with the kids with a sublime view! Although comfortable, the cottage could definitely do with some TLC. A coat of paint and ensuring all lights work would do wonders for the property!
As we were self-catering, eating reviews are missing, although the Invermoriston Hotel did look tempting! Access to some great walks from the car park was easy. Even a gentle stroll would provide a view of the Falls & the Summer House. The silence, broken only by birdsong, is very restful. Night sky is great.
Beautiful location, lovely accommodations, and a most gracious host. Highly recommended!
Warm welcome from the host, clean and lovely rooms and a god breakfast.
