I stayed a week in order to attend an event at nearby Trinity Park with my dog. I had an excellent stay - the staff, without exception, were the friendliest of any hotel I have ever stayed in - nothing was too much trouble. The room was a decent size and recently decorated and the bathroom appears new. Dogs are welcome in the bar area (where you can also choose to eat) and the breakfasts are fantastic. All in all, my dog and I were made to feel very welcome (and a special thank you to Maisie for the dog treats!)

This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel, standard remains as high. Tasteful design, friendly staff, great location if travel by car. Attention to details, from welcome drink, complimentary water and drinks in the fridge, to the heated towel hangers are all excellent.

Went to a Reggae Funday at the Golden Hind to see Barry Boom performance and it was fantastic 💯🤩🥳I loved the people, the atmosphere and the welcoming vibes from everyone! I danced all night and had a great time in Ipswich with people I've never met before 😅 10 out of 10🎉🎊🥳🥳🥳

Ipswich is a weii-kept city with a busy pedesrian-only main shopping area, cafes, street market stalls and banks where one can actually talk to staff! Busy trafficked streets are well-controlled with the best traffic lights and pedestrian safety possible. I enjoyed my 2 - day visit.

Pleasant surprise.

Pleasant surprise. Was there for the football but enjoyed Christchurch Mansion, the Waterfront and the plethora of half-timbered houses. Didn't have time to visit Sutton Hoo - would do so next time.

We used this as a base as there was lots of places to visit. Lots of history and outdoors to explore. We were extremely lucky to have glorious sunshine, not quite sure what you would do in rainy weather.

Ipswich is a sad town these days.

Ipswich is a sad town these days. Many shops have closed charity shops fill the empty ones. I simply do not visit except to see friends and relatives. It has a wonderful history and many historical buildings including Christchurch Mansion and art gallery with priceless paintings by Constable and others

Cold welcome , staff literally had there coats on No open fires on , manager head in he’s phone all night , steam room not working , kids in hot tub no life guards , staff very discriminatory all talking loud in there own language, told upon arrival pool shutting at 5 pm - Notting told this on booking Very dissatisfied with my stay .

I've stayed here multiple times now and the experience has been faultless every time. I've pretty much stopped using hotels in Ipswich when I need to stay as this is a much nicer experience. The owner is really friendly and accommodating, the place is spotlessly clean, the facilities are everything I'd need an d more. So much nicer to have more space than just being confined to a hotel room and the little extras such as a pint of milk and a loaf of bread are fantastic. I've recommended this place to everyone I know.

more expensive than hotels in the local area and not really worth the extra money. Odd vibe, Part modern, part old fashioned part asian, part Arty so i’d suggest Pick a vibe and go with it as it’s a very confused setting. It’s ok but nothing special food is quite nice and restaurant area nice. But giving the perception of grand then you have to back that up with rooms etc but they are nice but cheap finish, no sound proofing at all and cheaply done and it’s obvious. Would not stay again in fairness

Service was excellent and polite. Bedroom was large, clean and spotless. Bed was very comfortable (medium softness bed). Shower and WC facilities good. The only negative was no handrails in the bath which, when taking shower, I feel is really important. Breakfast was fabulous and again the team were wonderful so overall for a 3 star this is a great hotel. Location wise it serves a purpose of being fairly close to Ipswich and the new industrial site being built and halfway ish between Norwich and London

Friendly welcome at reception, given all the information we might need, and room ready even though we were a couple of hours early for check in. Nice hotel on the quay at Ipswich Marina. Comfortable room on first floor with views across the boats in the marina. Stayed two nights and managed, just, to get a space in the car park. Food good in restaurant if a little pricey. Table service only for breakfast, but the offerings really only average. All staff we met were helpful and efficient.

As a wheelchair user, I highly reccomend this fully accesible hotel. I would like to say Thank you to the entire RECEPTION and HOUSE KEEPING staff of the Easy Hotel Ipswich.  For your professionalism, and going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was a comfortable one. As a paraplegic,  in some environments you never quite know what to expect. You all made what has been one of the toughest periods of my life tolerable. Cheers to you All!!!!
