Great accommodation with 4 large bedrooms, very comfy beds, and a large, uncluttered downstairs living room and kitchen. We loved being able to put the fire on when we got home from our walk, and the house was perfect for dogs as not too much clutter around for them to knock with their waggy tails! The house is in a great location for Snowdon. We also loved that we were able to plug in our electric car to charge overnight. We'd definitely stay again.

e were in Llanberis for the Snowy Mountain Railway, which was a fun experience. The cafe offers typical fast food. A movie introduces you to the train. At the top of Mount Snowdon, there is a building offering snacks and drinks and shelter from the weather.

The atmosphere in Llanberis is fantastic for walkers with most of the residents very welcoming to us invading their town. The facilities for eating and drinking are great and the area has some fantastic views.

Excellent scenery and the excellent Sherpa bus service ensures a relaxing way to enjoy the area, whether you are sightseeing or hiking. Pete’s Eats and the Spice of Llanberis are two great places to eat!

many things to see and do from train up Snowdon to various lakeside activities .excellent base for the area not too far from the north Wales expressway so many interesting places in easy reach .head south and you will find Port Merion well worth a day out

A lovely little village with several interesting craft shops...

A lovely little village with several interesting craft shops, many good eateries, a beautiful and fascinating church, and a friendly and high quality ice cream shop in Giorgio's. The Llanberis Lake Railway is lovely, with its little engines, and nice fun carriages though until Christmas it doesn't go very far as the National Grid have borrowed its line for building work. The Snowdon Mountain Railway is amazing, and a friendly but very efficient little centre. The bus links at the interchange are excellent so it is easy to get to, and to get to somewhere else from.

Llanberis is a delightful village with plenty of eateries...

Llanberis is a delightful village with plenty of eateries and interesting areas; the lake was an absolute delight, the mountain railway was too expensive for my needs and the station area quite tacky, but that’s just my opinion.

We stayed at the Lake View Hotel recently for a weekend, climbing Snowdon. Amy and James were absolutely incredible hosts during our stay; friendly and imparted fantastic knowledge of the local area, best restaurants etc. The food was excellent, the rooms were clean and welcoming, and the overall service was great, We would definitely go back!
