Enjoyed the McCrossan walking tour- gives you an understanding of the history and you get your bearings to walk around independently. The Guildhall was interesting and well worth a visit. Good choice of restaurants and bars. We had a lovely meal at Fitzroy, drinks at Badgers pub and a great traditional music evening at Peader O’Donnell’s pub. Great shopping centre too - Dunne’s is a great shop !

There is a lot of history to learn of particular interest to the British from the first settlement to the present day. To appreciate the city it is necessary to walk everywhere- over the peace bridge, along the road with the murals in Bogside, around the Guildhall, walk the city walls and visit museums etc. Plenty of restaurants to choose from.ElizabethUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Really friendly helpful people. Very easy city to navigate. Highly recommend participating in a walking tour (around the walled area) of the city. Takes about an hour, but is really helpful (historically). We had just an overnight & until the following early afternoon. Will definitely be returning! We went on a guided tour of city and it was really worthwhile and enlightening and gave us a feel of what the city has been through. Our accommodation was within walking distance a brilliant location . Exchange rate made things expensive. Definitely worth a visit and we will certainly return, easy to drive around.
