United KingdomFirst of all the property is absolutely gorgeous and for a 3 bed house with garden etc the value was amazing, staying here meant that we could just relax no rushing around hotels or feeling the need to be quiet and leave early due to little one being a noisy boy in the mornings. Having had surgery recently having two bathrooms was very handy with the downstairs toilet/shower easily accessible,the landlord Nick was also very helpful and very friendly offering help or checking in on us via message to ensure we had no issues with our stay, the property is also located right next to shops and restaurants so grabbing bits for dinner was no issue and it is about 10-15 mins walk away from train station

The property was not up to a feasible renting standard, let...
The property was not up to a feasible renting standard, let alone worth the £336 I paid.
To begin with, it was listed as "luxury" and was generally not even up to a "good" standard. The photos on the listing weren't representative in the slightest of the reality of the situation.
-While there was a lockbox that provided a key for the front door, the back patio door didn't lock and no separate key was provided. Meaning that we were unable to secure the property. I wrote a message to the host to request a key and never received a response.
-There was no fridge provided. While it appeared that there was one, it turned out to be a freezer that had been left unplugged with both food and stagnant water inside causing it to smell rancid.
Because there was no fridge, we had to bin fresh food that we brought with us for the duration of our stay.
-There was a general damp smell that was being poorly masked by febreeze plug-ins (a problem in and of itself as it made the house smell unbearably sickly sweet.)
-The rental appeared to be superficially clean but felt grotty.
ie: - We weren't confident that fresh linen and towels had been provided
- the property was of a generally poor standard
- the outside bins were overflowing
-the living room door locked when closed and needed to be forced open
-there was rubbish as well as random junk strewn about the garden
-the storage cupboard and the kitchen cupboards were full of junk, including unopened mail from previous tenants

The staff were amazing could not help you enough.our only fault was access to the bathrooms tried numerous empty rooms but still all doorways were to small, no access to the shower either no seat . It's a shame as we would of stayed there again as the staff were lovely but due to the bathrooms it would be out of the question. IAM an amputee so it was difficult

I used to live in the area until I moved away it's always nice to come back and visit family who still live in the area.
There's plenty places to eat the Greenland itself serves good found also there's plenty of takeaway places and there's also a pub within walking distance everything within walking distance and best place is Lickey hills about 15 minutes away

The area is steeped in history and it was great to learn about it and to see what they havd achieved with the old longbridge factory site,definately worth a visit.just a bus ride away from birmingham city centre too

Absolutely awful!
Absolutely awful! Wouldn’t let me partner check in without my photo ID, I’ve never been asked for photo ID to check into a hotel!
We went back later in the evening at 10pm to a full blown night club! Extremely loud music, security on the doors, people outside smoking. I felt completely uneasy with my 10 year old son who got upset & scared and wanted to leave. We walked out of there & booked into the travel lodge down the road.
Terrible place! Definitely not somewhere to stay with a young family……….or at all really! It was shocking

Great accommodating staff very friendly price would be more reasonable if there were tea and coffee in the rooms. Lovely and clean fresh towels. Very clean throughout the hotel. Good location all you can eat breakfast very nice
