Within walking distance of city center via a quiet stroll besidethe River Severn. Although the house is on a busy street, the room overlooked a lovely meadow and was very quiet until the birds started in the morning. I could have shut the window but I rather liked their singing. The bed was comfortable, softer than I normally like but I didn't wake up with an aching back. I almost canceled this booking because my previous Homestay was quite uncomfortable, but I'm glad I didn't. This room seems to be in a converted garage and quite separate from the rest of the house. I heard very little noise from the family except for some muffled talking when Jennifer was giving a massage in the room above, but it was only once for a half hour and no big deal. I checked myself in and out via a lockbox on the front of the house and only saw the hostess on two brief occasions, so the privacy was very good. The toilet was just a bit down the hall and it seems I was the only one using it, so I was okay with getting up in the middle of the night without fear of running into someone. It has a quirky flush, but I soon figured it out.
