We felt like at home. Breakfast was amazing, all cooked fresh to order with toast and fresh coffee and absolutely delicious! Sue, Alan (the hosts) and Wilf (their dog) were absolutely amazing. The room was lovely and clean and the bed was comfortable. Shops and pubs are in the nearest neighborhood.

Recently refurbished and thoughtfully laid out. Having the log burner set to light with extra logs available was a lovely touch. Hosts Tom and Debbie were very responsive and went the extra mile to give us an early check in.

Ash Cottage is stunning Stayed as a couple with one dog, the property was a great size, well designed & in a good location Middleton in Teesdale has fantastic walks a couple of good pubs & several cafes, would definitely stay again

Exceptionally high standard throughout this charming B&B. Clean, comfortable, with friendly hosts. But most of all, the breakfast was amazing. Lots of quality choices, and nice to have something different than the usual full English.

The cottage was cosy and so quiet. A lovely welcome hamper which was enjoyed. The village is lovely with everything you need locally within walking distance. Great location for driving around, we went to the lake district one day then York on another, also drove around the nearby towns and villages, also we had a nice relaxing day in the cottage, ideal for a relaxing break. Easy and great communication with the host, hopefully return one day.
