We arrived earlier than the agreed check in time but the host allowed us early entry after a quick email. Collection of keys was very straightforward, all instructions were included in the welcome email. My husband locked the key in the flat and this was sorted out within a few hours without any fuss, we really appreciated it! The flat was a good size for a family of 4 and immaculate! Very happy and would definitely book this accommodation again. Thank you

Were told today by friends that The George had recently changed hands and that local feeling was the pub had gone donwhill. It was clean, bed comfortable, but we were not expecting to eat breakfast in our room and the food provided was very poor. We used to live in the village and were expecting better service.

Great location if you are in a car. Friendly staff.
Great location if you are in a car. Friendly staff. Comfortable. Good value. For the price don't expect perfection. Nicer than staying in central Bristol and the price difference more than covers lots of car parking.
Good for visiting Tyntesfield, SS Great Britain, Clifton and Bristol.
No food Sunday evening but there is a Subway not far away (closes 8.00pm Sunday)

The George Hotel on the main road has amazing food - that is very reasonable, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The Covid measures are good as is the cleaning. Looks a little grubby from the main road but is beautiful at the entrance court yard around the back and lovely inside.
The heated pool was so luxurious. we felt like we had a boutique hotel to ourselves. our children played cricket on the lawn in the evening. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. A local pub with great grub 5 mins walk away. it was simply idyllic.
A recently refurbished hotel. Nice rooms well thought out. Plenty of car parking. Comfy bed. Restaurant food was good.
All in all an excellent stay except for the breakfast
Beautiful hotel with a very friendly team. The grounds are stunning and our room exceeded expectations, very comfortable bed and such an indulgent bath!
