Amazing staff kind and welcoming having pipers under is very welcome and the drinks are cheap to bonus thank you for the extra touch by giving us free entry into the nightclub underneath well worth a stay we will be back

The owners were so friendly and helpful. The beds were amazing ! Kitchen was well equipped and the pub was a lively addition.

The room was very clean and warm (stayed in early spring), the interior and decoration of the hotel is an interesting mix of collectibles/art/antiques which makes it look like a mini museum. Very different and I loved it! Breakfast was outstanding! The owner is so friendly and really helpful.

The room looked recently and well refurbished, very clean and quiet despite it being a busy pub on a busy road. And a GREAT shower and bathroom. The reception, cleaning and restaurant staff were great and there were frequent buses to the centre outside the pub. Great stay.

Refurbished rooms are spacious and bed very comfortable. Staff extremely helpful. Location could not be better.

The team was extremely friendly, helpful, and flexible. The location is great, close to everything, easy to find, and there is a lovely bar in the building, really good vibes. There is tea, coffee, and water provided in the communal area on the ground floor, next to the chill zone with some boardgames, TV, and loads of cushions. Security-wise it feels very safe, as you can only enter the lift with your passkey, and obviously you need it for the room as well. I would say that if you want to use the locker in the room, you need to grab a lock, or maybe you can rent it. There is plenty of signage with what you can rent/buy, like towels, toothbrush & toothpaste etc, and there is shampoo, shower gel, and soap in the bathrooms. The rooms are clean and comfy. The bedsheets were amazing, and pillows and blankets were great, too. Will be definitely using again if/when I am back in Newcastle.

Perfect location. Beautiful room created to the highest standards. Exceptionally clean, everything you need. The staff are lovely nothing too much trouble. They allowed my dog, which was perfect.if you have your kids at uni it’s in the perfect location. My daughter and I have eaten here may time and the food is great! Great value for money!

Charming old property set next to one of Newcastles most picturesque parks. You felt like you were in a country house but with easy access to the city centre. Every member of staff was outstanding and clearly loved working at the hotel.

From the moment the bellboy took our bags and the lovely lady checking us in. She escorted us to our room where she prepared a welcome note and biscuits. We had drinks and a light dinner in the front bar. Everyone who we came into contact with were brilliant. Thoroughly impressed.
