Redhill Garland- 1 bed 1 bath self contained ground floor flat offers serviced accommodation 350 metres from Redhill town centre and 3 km from Reigate. The property was modern , clean and comfortable and in a very good location for trips to London and Brighton and Surrey generally . The communication with the host was excellent ; we would be very happy to stay again in the future .
With city views, Self-contained town centre contractor apartment Cromwell Rd by Helmswood Serviced Apartments is set in Redhill and has free WiFi. Lovely and clean. Attention to detail. Great location, entrance to shopping centre just behind the apartment.
I used to live in reigate so know it very well.it's a lovely town with a beautiful park ,excellent shopping, lots of history and eateries. It is also a good place for commuting to London,Gatwick Airport,Brighton and for exploring a host of other interesting towns. Children fare well too as there is a good mix of schools, both private and state and many sporting activities. Come and live there!
Reigate is a very vibrant town, a Historic town, very picturesque, lots of good restaurants, pubs, a great variety of shops, the beautiful Priory Park to the south of the High Street & historic Castle Grounds to the North, to walk in. The entire town centre is a conservation area, carefully protected to retain it's historic charm. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside & close the the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty & adjacent to the Pilgrim Way which runs from Winchester to Canterbury, ideal for long distance walkers. Reigate Hill, just off the M25, is a National Trust area with stunning views over the town & adjacent countryside. Having booked a very disappointing Hotel, The Bridge House Hotel, I breakfasted at Beryl & Peg's, a superb Cafe on Holmesdale Road, opposite Reigate Station at the bottom of Reigate Hill. The splendid Restaurant "Cullender's" has replaced the superb "La Barbe" which served Reigate French cuisine for many many years.
I've been here before but this time was very poor. Awful shower facilities, no WiFi (in all fairness they did try to get an engineer in), no pillows and found the bed uncomfortable. I use this hotel just for a quick few hours nap when in the area visiting a friend but won't be coming back again. You basically get what you pay for (£30 for the night) but would of had a better night sleep in my car!
On arrival, we noticed that there was a Christmas fete on, so as we were too early to get into the room, we walked down to the town and had a look round. We didn't stay very long as it was very busy
Was only staying overnight after football at Wembley to meet friends, so can’t really comment on the town. The Red Cross Inn on High St is fantastic, lovely people that run it. Great atmosphere with a band on a Sat night
Firstly we arrived to find we had to pay £10.00 for parking and that was not listed on the web site when i booked the room it said there was car parking spaces. the room smelled of stale cigarettes and was very musky so we decided not to stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone apartment from young gangs of friends
we had no breakfast ,and the location is good
