The accommodation was great! Very central location, the beaches are just a few minutes walk away and many breakfast options are nearby. The owners of the accommodation are super friendly and helpful and are always available if you have any questions. Staying with a dog was really great! Highly recommended for two people and a pet.

I loved the clean beaches, browsing around the shops and...

I loved the clean beaches, browsing around the shops and galleries and eating out. Although, expensive in most places. Most of all, loved St Ives school of Painting, where I did a 3 day course. Hated getting attacked by seagulls every time I bought something to eat outside.

We love St Ives, it is the 3rd time we have been there and...

We love St Ives, it is the 3rd time we have been there and plan to go back again and we have to fly from the other side of the world to get there. We travelled by train from London which was great. We had some amazing meals at pubs and restaurants. The seafront is easily accessible to walk along, go swimming or just sit on the beach.

Lovely place to stay although it can get extremely crowded...

Lovely place to stay although it can get extremely crowded in high season and parking can be a nightmare. Nice beaches, plenty of pubs and restaurants and lovely shops. The roads can get very congested so i advise to use public transport. Train service is excellent. Don't go if you don't like dogs. Nearly everyone there seemed to have a dog!

Beautiful beaches, beautiful shops, friendly locals, lots of local products. Easy to spend money!! Some lovely restaurants…make sure to book unless you go 6pm or 9pm. Porthmeor Beach was beautiful and very clean. The cafe at the beach was lovely and team very friendly. Long stay parking is challenging, I suggest arriving very early morning or late evening…or be prepared to wait an hour to get a space. It rained when I arrived so it made it easier to get parking as people left. Some roads are sooo narrow and on steep hills…don’t trust satnav directions completely as you may end up getting stuck.

St Ives is a lovely place and the beach and water quality...

St Ives is a lovely place and the beach and water quality amongst the best in the country. It was a mixture of commercial enterprises, art galleries and excellent restaurants. The little trainl to St Erth was good fun with lovely views.

We as a family have visited St Ives many times from...

We as a family have visited St Ives many times from childhood, my mother in law was evacuated to St Ives from London and lived there for the duration of the war. She was with us on this visit. It is true to say that there have been changes over the years but the beautiful beaches and the narrow cobblestone streets remain unchanged. It is not easy to push a wheelchair on the cobblestones and some shops are inaccessible but we managed to get along Fore Street and into some of the shops There are lots of great places to eat and The Tate gallery is definitely worth a visit. A welcome addition this visit was the deckchairs on the the harbour, a lovely place to sit and relax, maybe have an ice cream 😊

We stayed at Tregenna Castle Hotel as it was the venue for a wedding reception we were attending. From check in to check out it was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. The staff, helpful, friendly, professional, our room lovely and clean with great facilities and the most beautiful views. Couldn't recommend highly enough for a wedding/reception venue. The food was superb! and the most compelling Master of Ceremonies who was outstanding. A wonderful hotel ....worth every penny!

The hotel was in a fantastic location over looking the sea. Just a short walk in to town. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean, the shower was quite small though! The beds were huge. The spa facilities were lovely, very clean and relaxing. The staff couldn’t have been better, nothing was too much trouble and they were always happy and accommodating. The buffet breakfast was really good - great selection of pastries, fruit, granola, yogurt, toast etc.

The St Ives Bay Hotel is a little dated in places, but it offers incredible value for money. The food is excellent, the staff are friendly, and the views are absolutely stunning. It’s only a short walk into St Ives Centre, and you’re practically above the beach — you really can’t beat the location for the price. I’d happily recommend it to anyone and would definitely stay again

The studio is in an excellent location, clean, and very well equipped, with fabulous views across the bay. It provided everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The surrounding area is easy to explore, and we particularly enjoyed breakfast at the newly refurbished Pedn Olva Hotel just a short walk away. Overall, a wonderful base and highly recommended.
