Joby was a wonderful host. The best G&T cocktail on arrival and cold beers in the fridge. He provided some wonderful tips for sight seeing and dinner. Definitely go to Talay Thai on the harbour (best Thai food outside Thailand). The room was well appointed and had everything we needed for a weekend away with baby. Short walk down all into town, but what a view on the way. Would definitely stay again.

What a lovely stay! Great communication from Joby and the offer of a free upgrade to a sea view was much appreciated. Our room was very comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. With a good parking spot and a nice 10 min walk passing The Tate down to the harbour - this was a great spot for us! St Ives was wonderful, lots to do, great food (can recommend the Thai) and great pubs (we really liked the Lifeboat Inn especially open mic nite!). On Joby’s recommendation we walked the coastal path to Zennor, getting onto the path just around the corner, this was a great walk with spectacular views (8miles) finishing at The Tinner’s Arms. Joby’s hospitality was amazing - lots of extra touches, always on hand if needed and the wonderful Cornish Gin & Tonic’s after our walk was just lovely.

Joby was a very welcoming and helpful host. We appreciated touches such as complimentary arrival drink and warm croissants in the morning. The property is a short walk from all the restaurants and bars of central st Ives. We slept well in the peaceful comfortable rooms.

Our property is newly refurbished with our own style of contemporary modern furnishings, some of which were made by our own fair hands and also art work by local artists. Each of our rooms offer its own unique feel without compromising on comfort. Guest can enjoy a restful night sleep on our memory foam mattresses and egyptian cotton sheets and wake up feeling relaxed and refreshed in our beautiful town. The rooms are spacious each with there own en-suites and mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities.
Myself joby and wife Zoe were both born and raised in St. Ives. We have both lived and worked away from our idyllic little town, but have always come home. We could not imagine a more perfect place to raise our 7 year old son Noah and 4 year old Oscar.
Very quiet, with the town centre only a five mintue walk down the hill. Or if your feeling to relaxed you could jump on a bus that picks up and drops off right outside our doorstep. St. ives has so much to offer, from the cobbled streets of fore street, where you can find a collective array of souvenirs to the high street area and harbour front where can find a few well know brands as well as quirky boutiques. Our beautiful town has been a popular surf destination for many years, with numerous surf shops selling and hiring everything from boards to accessories. Porthmeor beach the closest beach to our front door has a fantastic surf school where all ages can have fun learning to surf. St.ives if full of character and guests could fill their days exploring the galleries or eating in the many restaurants and cafes that line the streets. The TATE is a go to for any art lovers.
