The apartment was spacious and beautifully decorated and furnished. Everything was top quality. The view from the sitting room was absolutely charming, along the coast to the cliffs. The bus stop was right outside the apartment, very convenient if you don’t want to use the car. We would absolutely recommend this gorgeous property.

Beautiful location, the views are amazing, you can see the ocean view from your bed which was surprisingly comfy, sole use of the garden. Good facilities at the property, & it’s the little things makes the difference like the little cleaning pack they provide for the things you didn’t think about when packing.

What guests said about Seaton:

Beautiful beach.

Beautiful beach. Needs a bit of perking up as seafront pub closed and scaffolding around another building doesnt look so great. Cute little town that doesnt get the attention it deserves. Locals are very friendly. Would return. Very chilled compared to the crowds at Lyme!

Lovely walks along prom. Self catering shopping close by.

Lovely walks along prom. Self catering shopping close by. Plenty of cafes and restaurants but not too busy when we visited. The King’s Arms provide good food at a reasonable price. Le Pisanni , Italian restaurant was good and the Hideaway at the end of the prom provided snacks and drinks with a god view of the bay.

The beach is clean and the water quality is very good crystal clear. BUT winter storms have increased the beach water entry height dramatically to approximately 6ft in the middle of the beach area, making it almost impossible for younger children and senior people to safely enter and exit the water . I am surprised the council have not attempted to improve this situation by grading the beach down to a more acceptable level. Also there are very few facilities eg cafe, toilets

In our opinion, having travelled to quite a few towns and villages along the coast, Seaton is rather tired - not much to appeal to us and the pubs and restaurants are all quite basic. Better to drive out to Branscombe or Beer (if you prefer quieter villages, which we do). We drove out to Axmouth just 5 minutes away for dinner. Seaton has a nice promenade along the pebbly beach.

Seaton is a completely under utilised beautiful seaside resort. It should be really well known as it is a beautiful place but neighbouring Sidmouth and Lyme Regis get all the love. We prefer Seaton. The yearly East Devon Soul Festival was incredible and displayed Seaton to its ideal max.

Seaton was so friendly and had everything we needed. Lovely independent shops and restaurants/cafes including Frydays fish & chips, live music. Beautiful walking trails nearby. Tram ride fun! Beach pebbly and steep but good for swimming once in.

Room well decorated and spotlessly clean. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast with two time slots if you weren't an early riser. Super dog friendly, my pup had no restrictions in the Hotel or pub.
