A 17th-century farmhouse bed and breakfast just 12 minutes from Ironbridge, Church Farm B&B in Shropshire offers luxurious en suite rooms with free parking and free Wi-Fi. Had an excellent overnight stay in this beautiful and homely farmhouse. Chris the host was very accommodating to our vegetarian and gluten free diet and the breakfast was perfect for us. Thanks Chris
Situated on a farm 7 km from Shifnal and 10 km from the centre of Telford, The Powerhouse provides accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Great place. Everything you could possibly need, on two floors and in beautiful countryside. Perfect for us. Note though that you may need to refer to the host's notes to find the secret cutlery drawer!
Just 15 minutes’ walk from David Austin Roses, Wayside Guest House offers spacious rooms with private bathrooms and countryside views. With free parking, Wolverhampton is 15 minutes away. All rooms nicely decorated and furnished, vey homely and comfortable, had everything we needed. Lovely comfy bed with super soft good quality linen. Super full English brekkie, lovely views over the fields and were made to feel welcome.
Set in the market town of Shifnal, 5 miles from Telford, this 17th century country house presents itself as an elegant and luxurious building which combines modern amenities with traditional features.... Stunning location and beautiful country hotel. Fantastic staff and the food was top class. The only downer for us was no fridge in the room or full length mirror and as we were there for a wedding it would have been nice to see our outfits😁
Haughton Hall, a listed building dating from 1718 and situated in the quiet beauty of rural Shropshire in Telford, provides free WiFi, garden and a terrace. Our first visit to meet up with friends (30+) staying for a reunion. We were all made very welcome. The staff were excellent, friendly, polite and helpful. The room was spacious and we were given a fan when we said that the room was hot! It was an exceptionally hot weekend. The meals were delicious.
The Plough Inn was great for our evening meal, we had a 6 year old with us and he was made welcome. Good prices for good home made food. Breakfast was enjoyed at Nan's Café. We had the traditional breakfast and enjoyed it. Jigsaws were provided to keep our 6 year old entertained during the short wait.
Shifnal is pretty, we only stayed to visit raf cosford for a graduation and were coming a long way so decided to stay the night so didn't have time to really have a good look round, there seemed to be a few good shops, no where to eat when we arrived which was late 10.30
Had a great 5 night stay at the Church Farm Shifnal, This beautiful B & B was a pure gem to find,The Farm House is set in a very quiet setting with superbly decorated rooms and so comfortable. i usually suffer with Hotel beds and end up with back pain, the Bed at the Church Farm was bliss. Then to top this the Breakfast was delicious, very good selection of cereals, drinks and continental options, i had the full English complete with double yoke fresh eggs from the farm, what a way to set yourself for a days work. Plenty Off road parking, i will always use this location when working in the area again.
It was comfy and convenient, I wouldn't want to stop for a long stay but the owner was lovely and very accommodating especially as we needed to check in early to get to wedding on time and knew we would be late returning. Nothing seemed a problem. It was a traditional cottage in the middle of the country with gorgeous views over fields. There was a pub approx half a mile up the road but I didn't notice a footpath to get to it. It was like staying a someone's grannies home, in a nice way!!😊 My son stayed in the annex and had issues with the shower temperature and pressure which could have been sorted had we been staying more than one night. A good value for money place to stop for a couple of nights with a great breakfast included.
I was visiting for business, so had lunch and dinner out and ate at the oddfellows pub. The lunch was very nice and dinner was delicious, staff were welcoming and polite. Visited Heaven salon and had the most amazing facial , highly recommended and well worth a visit to shifnal
We were attending a function at the Patshull Park Hotel and chose Wayside for its proximity. The proprietor was really helpful with last minute date changes and could not have been more welcoming. The room was clean and quaint overlooking countryside and we enjoyed the breakfast.

Location on edge of Shifnal village. We stayed in one of the rooms in the 'cottages' which was quiet and we were able to park our car right outside. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk in room, mini fridge, iron and ironing board etc. Didn't use leisure facilities- forgot they had them and didnt bring our 'kit'!

It is by far the best B&B we ever stayed in. A very nice and open minded owner welcomed us. The rooms are beautiful and premium equipped. Living in a farm and a luxury hotel at the same time. Unique.

Excellent staff. Clean basic room, as I expected. Good bed for a restful sleep. You can pick holes in any hotel, for the price this was good. Take your own soap! :-)

The hotel was lovely, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The couple who run the lodge are very friendly and make you feel at home.
