I visited for a wedding in a beautiful valley just outside Shrewsbury The views and venue breathtaking (the citadel ) It was stunning drinks in the garden which is beautiful. I highly recommend the wedding venue .. marquee for sit down meal absolutely delicious … after dancing and sitting looking over the valley … the lucky couple then stayed at the citadel for the night how lucky are they …
Blists Hill a great attraction for all ages. The iconic Iron Bridge is just as pictured. The Tile Museum well worth a visit. Easy to get around Telford and to visit surrounding National Trust Properties. Unfortunately several museums were closed. Lots of good restaurants and cafes.

I love Telford, I studied there so lots of memories. been 15 years since I left telford but memories are there so wanted my boys to see where their mother studied and lived for a while. I am a single mother and my ex is not in touch with my children, I don't have any family in UK so these little trips means a lot to my children. thank you. staff was so polite and helpful. god bless you.
We fell in particular love with Ironbridge (in Telford) which we could walk to in a flash from The Lookout. We loved the pubs you could dine in but in particuar we loved The Coracle pub. It was a micropub specialising in real ale within a short walk. Kieran, its manager, could tell you all you wanted to know about the special ales and other beers that were on. You could also bring in take aways from elsehwhere which he'd happily give you plates and cutlery to eat them with. We loved the Blists Hill Victorian town on Ironbridge too. Enthusiatic volunteers did a wonderful job of telling you all you needed to know about the birthplace of industry. We happily cycled around the gorgeous countryside admiring the lovely scenery and houses. We'd live there if we could!
Spotlessly clean and a modern bedroom. Val made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast - lots to choose from, really tasty and well presented. Great location right next to Wellington train station (a few stops down the line from RAF Cosford and we were going to the Airshow) Would certainly recommend this hotel for visits by train to Cosford or Shrewsbury or Ironbridge by car. The hotel is the building you can see behind the train station in the photo.
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel - the staff were so welcoming and helpful and the hotel was a lovely place to stay. The breakfast was excellently presented, well-cooked and the dining room staff were polite and attentive. The hotel was a short walk from local amenities and the Telford International Centre which was extremely convenient as I didn't need to drive between the venues. It was great to have access to the hotel pool and gym facilities as a bonus.
If you are visiting Telford you will not find a better deal- a studio flat close to Wellington town centre at less than the cost of most rooms. Wellington is a lovely village. While you are here you will want to visit the famous Ironbridge and maybe take a walk in the Town Park (voted best park in England 2019)
We were transferred to the holiday inn but as we were told it’s a partner company property to international hotel Telford it was for that reason. So therefore my review is on the holiday inn Telford. Marion I think the lady was at reception was lovely also!
Telford
The breakfast was excellent full english with unlimited coffee and toast the evening meals were also excellent and very reasonably priced and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and my wife and I would definitely stay again
The hotel was ideal for us, as we needed somewhere to stay close to Telford. It was cheap, therefore was not expecting it to be the Ritz! Breakfast was mediocre, however plenty of it. Parking was free and there were plenty of spaces.
Comfortable and clean room, beautiful outside space to sit on the restaurant side of the hotel. Gym/spa facilities are very good and close to Ironbridge where we wanted to visit. Very good value.
Lovely location, nice hotel. Comfy, clean (apparently) room. We ate in on first night and the meal was nice. Breakfast was nice too.
Lovely building and location right in the heart of Telford, Ironbridge and Bridgenorth. Beautiful building and surroundings.
Central to all we wanted to do in the area . Excellent staff , good breakfast & comfortable and clean room.
Due to inclement weather the hotel was swomped with dinners but the staff were fantastic.
Convenient for my destination I have previously stayed at the nearby premier inn
