We were so impressed with this lovely pub! The rooms really exceeded our expectations. They were gorgeous with such attention to detail and the beds were like sinking into a cloud of crisp white sheets. The staff were friendly and helpful. We’ll certainly go back!

Just round the corner of almost everything. With downstairs in the the restaurant/pub the feel of an old place (not medieval but like it’s been there a long time) and in the room all you would expect of a hotel. Friendly staff, good breakfast.

Everything is great , there not one thing not to like . The staff are just wonderful and friendly. Beautiful part of the world . Lovely service , great food . Will definitely be back in the new year .

Great location, quiet but not too far from the town. Staff were really friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was one of the comfiest I’ve slept in and the little note in the bathroom saying they would supply any essentials that you have forgotten free of charge was a really nice touch.

This old and historic hotel is perfectly located to explore Winchester and its area. We loved the wonderful garden which is an oasis in the middle of the city. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of things to choose from. Staff is very friendly and we look forward to visiting again.

We stayed for just one night but thoroughly enjoyed both our stay and the beautiful city. The experience was very pleasant — the staff were warm and welcoming, everything was clean and comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious. Stepping outside, we found ourselves right in the heart of stunning Winchester. The cathedral is just across the street, set on a charming square lined with linden trees. A short stay, but truly memorable
