First of all, I came across a lot of bad comments about the hotel. These comments were mostly about the room not being cleaned. I have not encountered such a situation. The most accurate comment I can make is this: Generally, hotels are worse than they appear in the photo. This hotel was better than it looked in the photos. Breakfast was diverse and delicious. The rooms were very spacious.

everything was just great. stayed there 6 nights, had only breakfast which was very nice. I’ve read other reviews saying that they should have more different things to eat in the morning - I think they had more than enough. the staff was fantastic, always ready to help, always smiling, great at interacting with kids. the hotel is at 7-8 minutes walk from Afytos center so plenty of places to have lunch or dinner. the beach is a bit too crowded with sunbeds but for what I know the beach is not owned by them. the right side of the beach provides a bit more space between sunbeds thought. the room was big enough, the bed was very comfy. cleaning was done everyday, clean sheets and towels every day as well. haven’t stayed by the pool but there are 2 of them so plenty of space to accommodate everyone. the music is non-invasive, you can hear yourselves talking when staying im the pool area or the bar terrace. the hotel is situated on the coast so the view is fantastic. overall a fantastic stay, great value for your money

The staff is so friendly and helpful.Breakfast was delicious and it contained products from local farms which were fresh and tasty,especially the feta cheese.Cleanliness was on another level,the cleaning lady always did a great job.My favorite thing was the view on the pool bar,having a coffee there was relaxing.I highly recommend this hotel and I am looking forward to visit again

The town has the most charming architecture on Kassandra.

The town has the most charming architecture on Kassandra. Unlike other towns that overbuilt tourist traps, this one has a soul -- the town centre square still have that ancient atmosphere about it. The beaches are nice. There is a lagoon with sandy beaches, that also have some tiny public space left. There's ample public space on the rocky beaches. And some free parking. If you're snorkelling or just use your goggles, stony seabed is actually more engaging. Private beaches have extortionist prices, you can find plenty of negative reviews on that.

A pleasant and peaceful village.

A pleasant and peaceful village. It has a small but charming center with interesting narrow streets and a beautiful spot offering a panoramic view. The center is lively in the evenings. There are plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, general stores, bakeries, a few bars, and places to get dessert.

Lovely place to spend your holiday.

Lovely place to spend your holiday. Many beautiful beaches to visit around. Nice and value for money restaurants and bars. Exceptional walk to spend couple of hours in a beautiful center and wonderful places to take pictures of an astonish sunset!!! Near village of Kalithea is also another option to spend some time but it's something different. More crowed than Afytos with Clubs and better nightlife for whoever interested.

A "must see" if you are on Kassandra.

A "must see" if you are on Kassandra. Very different architecture compared to other places on the peninsula. Slightly higher prices for fast food than in Kallithea or other places down the coast. Very lively during the evening.

Greek tourist resort still serving 250mm cokes for 4-5 euro a pop, still a ripoff tourist location with places ,managed by bad tempered money grabbing owners wanting 20 euro for a sunbed, if they dont change they will go broke im not paying 20 euro for a very weak old fashioned cocktail or 10 euro for freddo cappuccino .so so many other things that are overpriced , my advice stay away ( june 2026)

In the beginning/ or in the end of the summer season is the right time to visit the village. During the summer - just avoid it. No parking spaces, too many people, too many cars. In other hand the village is so so charming, absolutely appropriate for a long weekend relax.

The hotel staff is wonderful. Little Maria greeted us with a "Kalimera" (Good morning) every morning in the dining room. The breakfast is rich and well-prepared, and both pools are luxurious and inviting. The view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking! We received a large room with a balcony overlooking the sea and the pool. For anyone looking for tranquility, proximity to perfect beaches, and the charming town of Afitos, this is the place!

The Stratos hotel is near the town center of Afytos with lots of restaurants. Also to the beach it is only a 10 mins walk. As on the last afternoon of our stay the tube underneath the sink fall off, the hotel managed to get it repaired while we were out for dinner!! That was superb! Also breakfast variety is beyond what you usually find in Greece. All it all it is really worth to spend some days at the Stratos hotel.

This has been our best holiday stay in Greece! We couldn’t ask for a better service! Apartments were very clean, all you needed is in the room. The hosts were amazing! Dare I say one of the best Hotel rooms I have had so far!. The location was marvellous looking out to see the beautiful beach. The host Tatiana made our stay even more special! Such a friendly and kind soul, who kept our room spot on and super clean. She always helped us with any inquiries we had and was such a breath of fresh air to talk to her!
