The home itself was so charming and cozy. In real estate listings, "charming and cozy" usually equate to small and bare bones...not the case with the Silo Stone House. This is the vacation cottage that dreams are made of. It's on top of a hill with views of the ancient Mycenae ruins and the sea in the distance. It's completely surrounded by expansive olive groves, without a neighbor in sight! The house was so well equipped and well appointed that it puts most other vacation rentals to shame. The owners could not have been nicer or made us feel more welcome. The owners also have an absolutely incredible store that is just a few minutes away and no trip to this area is complete without a stop there. It's called the Silo Art Factory and it could easily double as a museum.

Hosts were extremely helpful. Our flight was delayed and they were responsive even into very late hours. The property and surroundings are beautiful. We only stayed one night, but would have liked to stay more.

It's a big enough house with two bed rooms (one of them is a kids room with bunk beds desk and toys) all amenities with good air and views around it. I could park my car in front of the house for free. The village is very close to Nemea so could enjoy many things around it. Owners were really nice, and they've helped me with my laundry in their laundry room and even dried+folded it for me 😎 and left it next to my door in the bag. When I've told them about the poor Wi-Fi speed they offered me to work in their church office in the next village and gave me an extra night for free. They reside on the floor above so are easily available to help.

Our host is kind, friendly and eager to please. Accommodation is very clean, spacious, equipped with all necessities, a bit rustic. It doesn't get too worm inside on a very hot day. Comfortable beds, very quiet place ideal for rest. In front of the house is a porch where you can drink your morning coffee in the shade of pine tree and the rustling of eucalyptus. Next to the accommodation is a tavern, in the thick shade of vines, with a fountain and many garden plants. The food is simply marvelous! I especially liked the red wine, sweet as honey. I highly recommand the place, because it is a central spot for visitig Mycenae, Napflio, Tiryns, Corinth, Acrocorinth, Argos, Epidaurus, Nemea.
