By train from the airport takes 3 hours (3 trains but very easy) and then a 10 minute taxi into the town. By coach from the airport about 50 minutes into Athens and then 2hrs 15 into the centre of Agios. By coach is cheaper. A lovely town with lovely views. The beach is a walk down several sets of stairs if you stay up by the square. Several beaches nearby that you can get to by bus. The beaches are shingle and stone but picturesque. You can get a coach into Patra, Greece’s 3rd largest city and walk up all the steps to the beautiful castle ruins and look out over the seaGuest review byAnonymous
