The hotel is amazing, a gem in Karpathos island. It is comfortably located in a hill overlooking Ammopi bay. The spacious and elegantly decorated rooms as well as the kindness of the owners provided me with an amazing and relaxing stay. When I go to Karpathos again, Althea Hotel will be my first choice for accomodation.

We loved everything! The studio was really nice, basic but big, comfy and clean (I think the cleaning lady comes everyday or every two days) and our terrace had some beautiful bougainvillea in full bloom too! Our studio was well equipped, there was also a really appreciated Nespresso machine for coffee and a kettle. We found a fresh bootle of water in the fridge waiting for us after a long trip, which also was really appreciated! The location is very calm, not far from the sea and several rocky (but beautiful) beaches. There are also a couple of tavernas which were super close to the building and a minimarket managed by the owner of the studios (guests of studios Nina have a 10% of discount on the final bill of the minimarket!). Let's talk about the owner... Eleftherios is one of the kindest person we have ever met!! He is always smiling and ready to help, he helped us renting a car and for the transport from and to the airport too. He gave us suggestions (and candies!) and he was always happy to exchange some words. He is the real added value to the place and he is one of the reasons why we loved our stay, he made us feel right at home. We would love to come back to Karpathos, which is an incredibly beautiful island, and we already know we would come back to Studios Nina. We really had the best time! Thanks Eleftherios!!

There were 8 of us, and it felt like the space had been designed with that kind of group in mind. Everything is easy, comfortable, and well thought through, from the layout to the equipment. It never felt crowded, and we could all enjoy both shared moments and quieter time when needed. The atmosphere of the place really makes a difference too - it’s peaceful, welcoming, and perfect for switching off for a few days. Also worth mentioning: everything was smooth and stress-free, with great communication throughout with Callioppé. One of those places you leave thinking “we’d definitely come back.”

We spent the last 3 days of our one-week Karpathos trip in Jhonathan Hotel. Lovely place with fabulous sea view. Rooms are comfortable and spacious enough for families with children. Paris is a perfect host. He was always available via phone when we had a question. He was asking if we need something when he was going to city center. He gave us an umbrella to use at the beach. We have visited many beaches in Karpathos and Amoopi has definitely the best ones. There is short walking way from the hotel down to the beaches, so ignore the route shown in Google. We definitely recommend Jhonathan Hotel and would come back in our next visit.
