We loved everything! The studio was really nice, basic but big, comfy and clean (I think the cleaning lady comes everyday or every two days) and our terrace had some beautiful bougainvillea in full bloom too! Our studio was well equipped, there was also a really appreciated Nespresso machine for coffee and a kettle. We found a fresh bootle of water in the fridge waiting for us after a long trip, which also was really appreciated! The location is very calm, not far from the sea and several rocky (but beautiful) beaches. There are also a couple of tavernas which were super close to the building and a minimarket managed by the owner of the studios (guests of studios Nina have a 10% of discount on the final bill of the minimarket!). Let's talk about the owner... Eleftherios is one of the kindest person we have ever met!! He is always smiling and ready to help, he helped us renting a car and for the transport from and to the airport too. He gave us suggestions (and candies!) and he was always happy to exchange some words. He is the real added value to the place and he is one of the reasons why we loved our stay, he made us feel right at home. We would love to come back to Karpathos, which is an incredibly beautiful island, and we already know we would come back to Studios Nina. We really had the best time! Thanks Eleftherios!!

The owner of the property was such a gentleman. He upgraded our room free of charge as soon as we arrived. We told him we would be arriving earlier and he left the key with a neighbour of his so that we could check in earlier than planned. He also give us some great recommendations for beaches to visit and restaurants and tavernas to go to in the evening. I would highly recommend this property.

First of all the hotel is located above one of the most famous beaches of the island. It is an authentic and typical Aegean style hotel surrounded by the rough landscape of the island. That makes it ideal for people who seek the real character of the island part of Greece. The room - refurbished in the greek minimal style - was very clean and had everything we needed: toiletries, tea/coffee, beach towels etc. Beds really comfortable. Under the old lemon tree and olive trees we had an excellent breakfast with fresh juice, handmade bread and marmalade, eggs cooked in many ways etc. The restaurant was a real surprise for us. We were more than delighted by the dishes, the quality of ingredients and the larger wine list we have ever seen at a greek restaurant! Ingmar, the service manager, made us feel like we were invited at a friend's house. We tried both fish and meat dishes and they were all superb! The prices are fair enough if you consider that the supplies' network is complicated for a remote island like Karpathos. A huge thanks for everything!

The pool is beautiful, clean and the ideal temperature - the kids loved it. The buffet breakfasts are perfect for starting a day of windsurfing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. And there was good camaraderie with the other windsurfing guests.

It was a very nice experience. The rooms were very clean, the area extremely hygienic. The stuff was amazing and very nice. The location is quiet on a beautiful beach, the city center is very close too! Would 100% recommend!

I liked the beach.

I liked the beach. The sand is soft and the sea calm and shallow. There are few places to eat but enough for us. We had dinner usually at Calypso restaurant. The food was good ant the staff friendly. There is also a cocktail bar named Pebbles which is excellent. they offer very nice special cocktails. they have live music shows every Friday evening. the cocktails are a little expensive but the wine and beer prices ar mostly reasonable. In general Amoopi is a very quiet place. far from the crows and perfect for a relaxed vacation.

Amoopi is a very seaside small town on a slope, about 20 minutes drive from the main port town of Karpathos Island, Pigadia. Amoopi has two of the most beautiful calm protected and organized beaches of Karpathos, great tavernas, and a variety of non package deal accommodation options. Best to have a rental car when staying there to easily access the beaches, tavernas, Karpathos port (for boat or ferry trips) and for day trips to other locations on the Island. Our absolute favorite place to eat was Dimitrios Fisherman Taverna.

Amoopi is a nice friendly fishermans village, they have few but good restaurants around, and the beach is quite beautiful. The only problem was that the sea water was cold, i was quite surprise by that... i was expecting good temperature but not... cold water in mid july.

- Wonderful staff, always helpful and responsive - Room had a great view, overall the location near the hotel is outstanding - Very soft and comfortable bed - Hot tube made our day, better take it than with a private pool - Good breakfasts and dinners, halfboard menu included decent positions, every day also special dish , it is included. Anyways, don't forget about tavernas nearby, they are also very nice - Pool bar was nice

I really like the location. Quiet and far from crowds. The location is good to start discovering the island. Many perfect beaches just in the neighborhood. The owner is very friendly, bringing us the figs from their own garden. The room is very clean, spacious and amazing view from the balcony. The bathroom is also huge. We will definitely come again as we fall in love with Karpathos, it was an amazing experience.

We, a family of five, had a wonderful stay at Vardes Hotel Studios. The homemade breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and nice, and the hosts were very friendly and service-minded. Vardes is a peaceful place to stay, only a few minutes walk from the beach, and the hosts are always ready to help you in every possible way.
