Everything was superb - from staff, to breakfast. Staff was very friendly, answered every question we had, overall hotel and room were clean, at the reception you can also enjoy a glass of champagne. Breakfast was also tasty, location of the hotel is right near the beach, we will visit this hotel again for sure!

The property has an incredible history - dating from Crusader times (1369) and Savvas is very happy to explain its history and various owners and renovations The location is great, in the heart of the Old Town but in a quiet back street My room was large and comfortable with everything I needed and a beautiful old fireplace and chimney in the corner Breakfast was fantastic - local produce, homemade jams, delicious omelette with spinach/courgettes, cheese, cold meats, salad, olives Savvas and Evdokia are wonder hosts, very helpful and informative Thank you!

We had a great stay at this hotel. The hotel is new, modern, and very comfortable. The breakfast was high quality with a good selection of food. The location is excellent everything is nearby, including the Old Town of Rhodes, cafes, and the beach. The area around the hotel is a bit more industrial, but honestly, it did not bother us at all. We especially liked that the bathroom was separated from the toilet, which is something you do not see very often. All hygiene products were very good quality, and they even provided SPF products, which was a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again!

Mitsis Blue Domes surpassed my expectations - we moved from a local hotel due to issues there and Blue Domes took my booking the dame day. The room (bungalow with garden view) was huge, great big beds and brilliant Air-con. Bath with shower and separate show cubicle, as well as little touches such as a stocked mini bar (every day) and teas/coffees, as well as a beach bag and big beach towels changeable every day. The resort was beautiful, with plenty of food places and drinks places scattered around including a-la Carte. As a party of 2, we manged to book in for 3 a la cartes for a 5 day stay at very short notice. All meals at the buffet restaurant were extremely fresh and tasty - whilst it may look smaller that you expect, it was all fresh, tasty and good quality, there just wasn't the duplication that you see at other resorts which in my eyes is not a bad thing at all! We had steaks, fresh beautiful salads, lots of fresh chicken, breads, and then traditional Greek dishes like beef stifado and gyros. It was my Birthday the first day and the restaurant staff (at the request of my 13 year old) came and brough me a cake and sang Happy Birthday which was a beautiful surprise. There is a health bar with smoothies and salads available, plus also a crepe and waffle bar with icecream and other desserts, as well as Gyros at the beach and burgers and chips by the pool bar. All were beautiful and very quick. I have high expectations of hotels, and the Blue Domes tops all of the greek hotels I have stayed at almost every year for the last 8 years.

We loved this oasis of a hotel. The staff was incredibly nice, friendly and made us feel welcome from the very beginning of our stay. Nothing was an issue for them and they had great recommendations for what to see on the island. This resort, however, is that kind of place where you will want to spend the majority of your stay at Kos. The beach was splendid, with great views, clean water and sand, and very comfy beach loungers. The walk to the beach through the sand dunes was a bliss on its own. The pool was also very nice, clean and comfy and when it was a little windy (mind you, it was the end of October), the pool offered a cozy alternative to the beach. The room itself is beautifully designed, the beds are comfy, and there all the amenities you may need. We really enjoyed the outside area of our room/bungalow with lots of options to sit, lay, chill, do yoga. One could also take a quick dip in the shared pool. There were days where we left the room only to go to eat something because we didn't feel like leaving this home away from home. Food options were solid. Breakfast was truly amazing, featuring local and fresh produce. The other food options were also yummy, albeit a little expensive. Last but not least, we found it really lovely that the hotel organized all sorts of cozy and laid back events, such as movie nights, free yoga classes and more. We will definitely come back.

The staff were absolutely the standout at this property! The property was absolutely perfect for our needs as a family of 4 (2 kids, 6 and 4), we had the junior suite with pool. It was modern, spacious, well equipped, clean. The place itself was perfectly located - a short walk into Chora, even for our small kids, and a short drive to Lavadi (you can walk in approx 10 mins, but we didn’t dare as the walk back with kids is quite steep and we had a car, so opted to take it each time). The main pool area is stunning, as is the restaurant and the breakfast is SUPPERB! We also ate in the restaurant for dinner twice and found it to be the best on the island (we enjoyed the Italian for a change to Greek food). However, the cherry on the top for us with this place was every single staff member. A very special shout out to Leo and Irine, who could not have done more for us, they went out of their way to ensure we had an incredible experience and were left needing nothing. They also made our kids feel so special and our kids LOVED them both. Thank you, thank you, thank you! What a magical week we had as a family in Astypalia. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Beautiful hotel, even prettier then the pictures, our room was big and v comfy, great swimming pool, gym and restaurants! All staff was lovely and very helpful. Tsambika from guest experience gave us some great recommendations on places to visit, she’s lovely :) the girls from Olive restaurant were great and very fun too. The cleaning was always perfectly timed and spot on. The rooms provide privacy and are well insulated so u don’t really hear your neighbours. The overall vibe was very classy and calm, if there’s music it’s really good and not too loud so you can still relax. The breakfast buffet was superb. We booked half board with dinner experience and it blew our minds. Every dinner (menu changing daily) was a 4-5 course meal, as vegetarians we appreciated the veggie alternatives that were always delicious. I also appreciate the long window for breakfast (7-11) and dinner - it’s not very common. The location is very good even without private beach access the surroundings are beautiful and the beach is nearby. There’s a beautiful hiking trail from the hotel to a chapel on top of a mountain.

The Old Town has good restaurants if you seek them out and...

The Old Town has good restaurants if you seek them out and don't give in to the entreaties of their front of house staff. It is more crowded than we remember with cruise ships so choose your times for visiting carefully, Walking in the Old and New Towns and the harbours is pleasant and rarely takes more than 25 minutes.

Faliraki beach is beautiful!

Faliraki beach is beautiful! We stayed at Marico Beach — paid €30 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. The menu was a bit pricey, but the sea itself was amazing, crystal clear water. Worth it just for the swim!

Kos Town is a good choice for those looking for a lively atmosphere. While there are hotels and apartments in quieter parts of the town, I was bothered by the contrast between a nice hotel and the neglected surroundings. I prefer areas like Lambi or Kefalos, where there is less litter and the paths are better maintained. Kardamena, Marmari and Tigaki is also nice.

Stayed at a small family run place at top of the hill into the town ..with great food and nothing was too much trouble ..lovely views ..you do need to be agile to walk down to town and acropolis , and would be v difficult with small kids or a buggy .. and most restaurants roof top with steep stairs ..the golf buggy service back up worked well for us at the end of each evening. Sensible footwear is a must ..

Beautiful island with picture perfect views.

Beautiful island with picture perfect views. The island was like a postcard. Water taxi will take you to some beautiful beaches. There is a daily boat trip which is a full day and most enjoyable. Look out for the goats at the BBQ stop.

Kolimbia is a small tourist village.

Kolimbia is a small tourist village. There are many restaurants catering for all types of cuisines and a lot of shops. It is clean and people are friendly. The beaches are a very short walk from the centre. I would recommend hiring a car to visit other parts of the island. Taxis are very expensive.

Quiet location, very safe area, everyone very friendly and...

Quiet location, very safe area, everyone very friendly and helpful. Pebbly beach, need your jelly shoes. Great place for windsurfing, saw many taking part. Great little shops and restaurants a stroll away and very reasonably priced. Can highly recommend the Cake Box for great coffee, cakes, filled rolls and also Marias Taverna for very good home made meals and snacks. Lalyssos not too far from Rhodes Town.

The locals are fantastic.

The locals are fantastic. They love cats, and the cats know it. When you go to a restaurant, try the local dishes and ask the waiter for advice on dining customs (e.g., Greek sausage with ouzo is a culinary delight). Because of the wind, you don’t feel the sun’s heat, so it’s very easy to get sunburned on the beach. Enjoy every minute of this paradise on earth.

Karpathos is a wonderful place to visit.

Karpathos is a wonderful place to visit. People are amazing and the towns and villages are so unique. Mai town of Pigadia is wonderful and has all you need. Great beaches close to town and so many shops and restaurants to choose from. A car is a must to visit some of the many unique villages and many amazing beaches. Olymbos is our favorite town for the local charm. Pigadia is a great town to spend your whole trip if you like to have a home base. Explore village, beaches and churches. Take a trip to Saria from Diafani. We like Niko's boat for those excursions. Hiking trails are plentiful. Scarapanto winery is lovely, quaint and good wine! Aperi has a fantastic restaurant, To Paradosiako. Don't forget to try the local specialty pasta, makarounes.

Kardamaina is a small town, so you can't get lost.

Kardamaina is a small town, so you can't get lost. It's the perfect place to relax and stroll along the seafront or through the narrow streets lined with restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors, and little shops selling souvenirs and a little bit of everything. At sunset, a fantastic light fills the harbor, making it magical. The aroma of the food mingles with the salty sea air and envelops you as you stroll along the streets that line the sea. The marina offers a variety of entertainment options, such as pirate ships for children, boat trips to the various islands, water scooters, parasiling, fishing boats and much more.
