Beautiful properly, lovely rooms. The staff is so incredibly helpful. Not only was our ferry broken on the way over but we also lost our suitcases on route to Athens and throughout the fiasco the Abatis staff, especially Kledi, were kind, present and helpful. Kledi also called about a dozen different numbers trying to help us find out suitcases. Without her help I’m not sure we would have succeeded!

The hotel is situated, right across a small road from a quiet beach where you have free access if you take dinner or lunch at the Yialos Fish Restaurant right in front of the hotel. We stayed for 14 days and chose this option for most days as the beach was suited for us - not too large, quiet even when all beds were taken, very good food and service at the restaurant even though there are cheeper options on the island.
We stayed in the bungalow, which for us was perfect as we had our own "home away from.home" for 2 weeks. The bungalow is small, but enough for 3 people who mostly spend just the nights in the room. The cleaning service was great. The lady in charge of the service is great and really made the place sparkle every day (tje service is daily, but we didn' t feel the need for daily, so we sometimes asked her to skip us for the day). The hotel is close to everything - bars, coffee shops, pastry shops, mini-markets, bike rentals etc. As the island is small, everything is close. Still we found it very quite, especially during the night so you can have very good night rest.
We also had breakfast included. It is not diverse, eggs - cooked as asked - or ham.and cheese toast - coffee, tea, juice, buttter, jam and cookies, but it is very fresh and tasty and the service is pleasent.
All in all, if ever back in Agistri, will chose the same accommodation.
Set nearby a pine tree forest, the Saronis is right on the beach of Skala in Agistri. Its restaurant serves fresh seafood and traditional cuisine.

Great, quiet location with a fantastic view of the sea from both the bed and balcony. Clean and comfortable, with the comfort and utilities you need for a short or long stay. Air conditioning worked great when needed, and Mario provided mosquito repellent for when we needed it.
The short walk to the beach and center of this extremely small town was a joy and it satisfied our desire for the small Greek island vacation we wanted.

Megalochori is a small village, Noima Hotel where we stayed was opposite the beach. There is a promenade right on the beach for early morning walks or jogging. The port is 3 minutes walk away, so we didn't need a taxi or a car to move around. You can rent motorbikes, bicycles and you can go round the island. There is an efficient and prompt bus service which takes you to the two famous beaches of the island (Dragonera and Aponisos). Both worth a day's visit and the sea is unbelievably clear and inviting.

I really loved this side of Agistri, honestly, when we had to pack up and move to a new room in Skala,I was sad. I really enjoyed the quiet, tranquil setting of Megalochori. Do yourself a favor and book a trip with Kristos on the Jaimaca boat tour, it was a fabulous experience. He also plays the Bazookie exceptionally well. It was incredible to see the shipwreck he takes you to and lunch in Methana was perfect. Can’t say enough about it. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment we had on this side of Megalochori.

We preferred this end of the strip as it is quieter but still has good beaches, bars and restaurants only a few minutes stroll away. It has a couple of good supermarkets too. There is quite a bit of building work going on so maybe check with your host first.

We went out of season with few people on the island except the core of locals, most tourist businesses closed.
We chose it as it is small and we expected it to be quiet, and only one hour from Piraeus by ferry. Nearby Aegina is much larger and another option, but you would need your own transport (hire cars available).
in season i could imagine it being super busy and seeming crowded.
Beautiful new accommodation, very clean, lovely toiletries and in very beach front. Situated in cute little town/village with all you need. Alex was great host, but Mrs Stella made the overall rate to 10. separate entrance gives you privacy, breakfast was AMAZING.
Hotel is located in a very nice location near the port and Chalkiada beach. Staff was nice and helpful. Room was ok for 2 people and realy cozy. The best is the lovely terrace with lovely view for cozy night beers.
The hotel was super clean, close to both centres of Agkistri. The hostess was very helpful and kind, she didn’t even charge us for our late check out. We definitely recommend it!
Really lovely little family run hotel. Clean and comfortable with a great pool and lovely buffet. Christos took us for a great day trip on his boat - book if you can!
