Located in Arkasa in the Dodecanese region, Kimata provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Very nice and clean apartment with beautiful balcony and sea view. Mrs Maria gave me all the necessary information. Excellent location. If you have a car, you will be on Agios Nikolaos beach in Arkasa or Finiki beach in a short while.
Just 120 metres from Agios Nikolaos Beach, the traditionally built Seaside Studios are set in a garden. The studio was well equipped with a good size kitchen. There are two balconies, one with garden views, the other with water and sunset views. It is close to restaurants and transport. Zaharoula, our host was very pleasant and ready to help, making our stay very lrelaxing.
Within 600 metres from Agios Nikolaos Beach and amidst a small garden, Blue Sea Studios comprises of self-catering accommodation with mountain, garden or Aegean Sea views. Fantastic view from the apartment and from the shower! Amazing sunsets every day. Great hospitality of owners, cleaning almost every day, fresh bed sheets etc. Arkasa is the best location in Karpathos - markets, tavernas, restaurants but still calm and quite.
The recently constructed Dilina Studios are located in the picturesque coastal village Arkasa, in Karpathos. Dilina Studios comprises of 15 double or triple studios. Very nice, clean apartment, comfortable beds, equipped kitchen, shower with closing doors, balcony with beautiful sea view, pleasent staff, very good wifi, next to big super market. We can recommend Dilina studios
A small village on the west coast of Karpathos. The land is arid and rocky with towering mountains. Life is in and comes from the sea. The beach bars, tavernas, and accommodation all face the sea. Easy to get to any part of the island from here. Much quieter than Pigadia (Main city, also called Karpathos on some maps). Arkasa is for the beach - has a beach bar, restaurants, and a few small shops. You don't actually have to leave the area unless you want to explore. Favorite spots - Karpassion beach bar, Glaros Taverna, Surfvival surf shop, Agio Nikolas Beach. There are trails to the beach from the main town center - just follow the trails next to the coast. Easy to get around walking or in car. There is a lot of accommodation right at Agios Nikolas beach. If you venture out head north to Lefkos - small protected bay. Good for kids. Stop at Taverna Under the Trees for a bite.
Nice location to explore the south island. The nearby beach not very beautiful compared with the rest of the island. There is a part of the village nice for a walk. The rest looks very touristic. Apart from a pizzeria and a cute bar the area has a lot of sort of cheesy places.
It was too windy on this part of the island, so we couldn't swim on that beach, as there were huge waves. The village is not picturesque and it's rather far from the town or the nice beaches. FINIKI,on the other hand, which is near Arkasa, is a a nice little port, with nice and cheap fish taverns
It was a convenient location, but we didn't like the fact there was no Bank (some hotels and some restaurants accepted only cash) or some more quality restaurants in Arkasa. Maybe it was also the geographic location of the village..I can't say for sure, but it is definitely not a great place to walk around.
Arkasa is a quiet part of the island and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful island. Some of the beaches are difficult to get to but there are many to choose from to suit your needs. The journey to Olympos takes in some of the most dramatic scenery imaginable and is well worth a visit to see many women in their national costume and buy souvenirs.

Thanks to Andreas we felt in love with Karpathos and we felt at home. Studios are ok with the wonderful sunset panorama. There is all you need! But if you come in August, as per Andreas’ tip, remember to book you car in advance. Grazie
