Amazing new hotel, everything is just so stylish and gives a nice luxe feel. The staff is great. We got our room upgraded cause it was my friend’s birthday trip, thank you so much!! The pool area with cozy beds, the private beach zone, free smoothies were brought to your sunbed. I got a really good deal for this hotel but our experience was worth much more thanks to them ;)

A nearly flawless experience. If you plan to stay put or you have a car, this is a perfect location in a less crowded suburb of Rethimno. Otherwise, just take into account that there is little to do within walking distance. Staff is so nice there is little else to say. Food is fantastic (take the half board!). Deserts are criminal! Rooms and beds are perfect. Even many hooks in the bathroom :) (something we find rarely in hotels)

Amazing boutique hotel at the beach. The location is perfect-quiet but still close to the town (Retimno), restaurants and shops. The staff is always helpful and very friendly. I highly recommend, especially for people who want to relax in a peaceful surroundings.

Everything was amazing! The staff were amazing and extremely friendly. We even got a bigger room than expected which was a very sweet surprise. Both rooms had air conditioning, the beach was in front and the room with sea view was simply amazing. We would definitely visit then again. 😊

This hotel was fantastic. The rooms were very spacious and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh and had a great variety for all tastes. The pool was a good size with poolside service if you are wanting a drink or something to eat. Hotels location was 1 block from the beach and about 1km (flat easy walk with lots to see) into the old town of Rethymno.

The hotel and its facilities are excellent. The staff is very nice, rooms are big enough, there are 2 swimming pools and 2 bars plus the beach with the sea. Still, on top of this their restaurant is the most excellent - extreme wide variety of foods, very good quality and every night they offer a dedicated cuisine (like seafood, bbq, japanese food etc.). Most of the guests are from Germany, there were some from UK and the rest is not much.

Asterion is a small village, quiet with one main road...

Asterion is a small village, quiet with one main road through it. There are a couple of restaurants (one traditional Greek, one with an Indian/Mexican/European fusion cuisine), a church and occasionally some sheep crossing the road. Very charming and quaint, slightly inland and on a hill (with views of the sea). For amenities such as a baker, pharmacy, supermarket or bars you need to drive 5 mins. down the road to Stavromenos, or 15 mins. to much livelier Rethymno.
