My partner and I stayed at Nautilux Rethymno for 9 nights and it was one of our best holidays ever! The hotel exceeded all our expectations in every way. The entire place was impeccably clean, making us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options every morning, and we looked forward to it each day. The staff at Nautilux Rethymno are incredibly friendly and helpful. A special mention to Liana, who gave us fantastic suggestions on things to do in the area. Her recommendations truly enhanced our experience and we enjoyed exploring Rethymno and the area immensely. We wholeheartedly recommend Nautilux Rethymno to anyone planning to visit Rethymno. It's a perfect choice for a memorable and enjoyable stay!

The staff, hospitality, food and atmosphere were exceptional. Spa facilities and services provided, massages, were outstanding. The food buffet had everything you could imagine and more. I recently stayed at Eleven Boutique Suites and had an amazing time. The hotel is very small, which made it very quiet and relaxing. The owner was incredibly helpful and always made sure I had everything I needed. The facilities were great, and the sea view was absolutely perfect. One of the highlights of my stay was the food at the restaurant. It was some of the most delicious food I've ever had! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay on Crete Island. The combination of great facilities, stunning views, and fantastic food make it a truly special place to stay.

Great place. Clean and well equipped rooms, we really appreciated the room with its own pool. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of choice. The lady manager was very nice and tried to help us with everything. Big greetings to Joanna from the restaurant, who we had a lot of fun with and made us feel warmly welcome. The nearby town is full of restaurants, bars and shops, the beach is a minute away, so great. We will definitely come back here again.

Everything was amazing! The staff were amazing and extremely friendly. We even got a bigger room than expected which was a very sweet surprise. Both rooms had air conditioning, the beach was in front and the room with sea view was simply amazing. We would definitely visit then again. 😊

The hotel is small, with a small number of rooms. At check-in they give a bottle of local wine and a plate of fruit. The staff are very polite and pleasant. Some days we lived with a sea facing room, a few with a garden view. The rooms have everything, clean. Very liked that for dinner every day was a different cuisine. And everything was delicious! My husband has gluten intolerance - and the chef told him which dishes were gluten-free, and sometimes even cooked specially. There was a very good breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thanks to the hotel we had an amazing holiday!

Asterion is a small village, quiet with one main road...

Asterion is a small village, quiet with one main road through it. There are a couple of restaurants (one traditional Greek, one with an Indian/Mexican/European fusion cuisine), a church and occasionally some sheep crossing the road. Very charming and quaint, slightly inland and on a hill (with views of the sea). For amenities such as a baker, pharmacy, supermarket or bars you need to drive 5 mins. down the road to Stavromenos, or 15 mins. to much livelier Rethymno.
