Everything about our stay was great. First of all, the owners were super nice, helpful and kind. They basically suggested all the places we went to during the trip which were all amazing, arranged our car rental and basically helped us around town. Regarding the hotel itself, rooms were very spacious and clean. We had an amazing view of the sea. The beach was literally the next to the hotel and it was really nice as well. There are enough sun-beds and chairs to accommodate the whole hotel. The city center is also very close (around 25-30 mins walking or 5 mins by car) and generally everywhere is accessible. Samos in general is a lovely island and I will be coming back to this hotel if I ever come back to Samos.

Hotel Katarina was by far the most special and unforgettable place we stayed in Samos! But calling it just a hotel doesn’t do it justice — it truly felt like home. The owner, Diana, might be one of the kindest people we’ve ever met. Her warmth, sincerity, and hospitality are beyond words. She didn’t just take care of us — she went out of her way to make every moment of our holiday even better. From restaurant recommendations to beach tips, car rentals, and simply being there whenever we needed something… She was like an angel. Her son was just as kind and helpful. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean. The rooms were bright, tidy, and fresh. You can feel the peace of Samos in the atmosphere of the hotel every morning you wake up. If you’re reading this and wondering where to stay in Samos: don’t think twice — choose Hotel Katarina. It’s more than a hotel; it’s a place where you’ll meet someone who truly cares. Meeting someone like Diana is a rare blessing. 💙

Staff was amazing, from reception to restaurant, bar, everyone. Sea is beautiful, sunbeds are great, you can always find one, pool area is super clean with best shower and changing rooms I have ever seen. They also let us use sunbeds after we checked out. I will stay here next time too. Great value for price.

So clean and well designed rooms, such a friendly and kind host!! The hotel is in the cute flower street, and have great location. It is not guaranteed that the breakfast is available every day but if you have the chance, I highly recommend the breakfast of the hotel, it was the best in the island. We will definitely stay here again next time in Samos :)

The hotel is recently renovated with an excellent, modern and sophisticated taste! The breakfast was superb! I also tried some of the facilities, including the spa, which was amazing! It is also very centrally located in Pythagoreio, convenient enough for everything you might need (supermarket, restaurants, beach close by etc)

It was one of the best breakfast i have ever had in a hotel. Rooms are exactly like the picture. Beach and pool was very comfortable to spend time all day.

This is a calm place for relaxing, the hosts are amazing and will take care of you in the best way. You can easily take a taxi to Pythagorio at night, but there is also a simple menu at the hotel for lunch and dinner. The best part is the rooms, the pool, the view!

Clean, tidy, amazing breakfast, customer service

Very pleasant and friendly place to stay. In the centre of Pythagora but a quiet location in a side street. Great breakfast, books you can borrow to read on the beach in a variety of languages. Really enjoyed my stay here.
