Yes Mykonos town is very picturesque, but with a couple of beaches + a trip to Delos it’s the only thing interesting about this island. If you are only there to party, lay on the beach and maybe rent a quad for a day it’s fine. If you want to see and experience more, especially with kids, I would highly recommend Paros / Anti Paros or Naxos, prices are way friendlier there. A most to visit whenever in Greece. Mykonos have something for everyone from party, beach life, food to watching the sunset. Don’t forget to visit Matoyianni Street, Church of Paraportiani, and the iconic windmills with Little Venice just by the side. We didn’t visit the Paradise beach. We enjoyed our time there.

Well what can I say.
Well what can I say. This this my fourth time to Mykonos over the last 20 years. I really loved Mykonos when I arrived in my late twenties but over time its lustre and sparkle has dimmed. Maybe it was the over pricing, that now exists but often travelling to Ibiza I realised I am happy to pay if I perceive it was worth my money. While it is still so easy to get around on the public busses for 2 Euro, the sunset at the windmills remains a fav view, the hotels I stayed in were great and the people are still lovely relaxed and living their best lives. I think it is time for me to move onto different destination. Avoid getting ripped off at the beach by enquiring and asking questions about prices. At Sant Anna the beach Club be aware that to get onto the dance floor you pay extra on top of entry for big events. Make sure you mingle with the locals for better deals and eat some of there amazing food. Some great stuff on a trip to Mykonos..... always.AngelaAustralia - Scored 1010

The location was excelent, just in front of the windmills and such a short walk to the Mikonos City. I loved it, could have stayed longer. The rooms and the bathrooms are a little small for my taste. But the hotel in general is amazing as well as the view from my room balcony.molina - Scored 1010

Mykonos is beautiful with cobblestone streets, beaches, shopping, restaurants. But it’s expensive! Catered for tourists. It’s very windy so check weather for boating and beaches. Little Venice was my favourite! Go there to have a cocktail and watch the sunset, see the windmills too! You can do beach hopping with a boat taxi but this is not at the Old Port, so take a bus to the beach first. If I went back I’d try the open air cinema.Aussie TravellerAustralia

They also have a free carpark at the hotel, so ideal If you have a car. The hotel and rooms are modern and clean, great size and one of the best views I have ever had in mykonos. The staff are all very helpful and always on hand to offer recommendations and help. I would now only stay here on my visits to the island.
