Great freshly made food especially "Musaka" with Greek salad :) All credits to our host Eva :) We really enjoy staying at Archontika Apartments. Few steps away is a small grocery store if you need something, but do not expect much. Place has a good strategic location if you want to explore south beaches. Parking available. Car is a must.

Agia Fotia Taverna is a magical place, tucked in a bay with its own (mostly) private beach. The restaurant is packed on weekends - the food is fabulous (and very affordable!), raki plentiful and the rooms above are spacious and very comfortable. At night, after the lights on the roof go out, the view from the balconies above is simply spectacular - stars and ocean as far as you can see.

Located on a slope, right above Agia Fotini Beach in South Rethymno, Kionia Apartments enjoys unobstructed views over the Libyan Sea. Really beautiful place, and really nice apartment. So quiet and peaceful, just hear the sound of the sea. The apartment was roomy and comfortable with a sea view terrace (table, chairs, two beach beds.) We could watch the starry, super dark sky. The staff was very kindly. The "own" beach is just few steps. The tavern is walking distance, 300 m away. Mini super market is about 10 minutes by car. We visited Preveli and Triopetra beach. Be careful on the slim roads :-) Recommend for those who love quiet, tranquility, calm places without noisy streets and bars.

Very nice owner, good local breakfast (5 EUR) Nice little village, we had dinner in the single taverna at the main village plaza, very local - we really enjoyed it a lot.

Situated in Kerames, 3.3 km from Preveli Beach, Natassa's View features air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. The property features sea and mountain views. We are incredibly happy that we booked this place as it exceeded our expectations. The owner, Natassa is amazing, she made our stay as if we were in our own home. She welcomed us so warmly and we felt an immediate connection with her as if we were already part of her family. She is is really organised, explained us everything regarding the house and surroundings, possible excursions, best beaches and restaurants in the area. Just follow her maps and indications better than Google Maps. She baked for us and prepared local home-made specialities for our stay. The house itself is huge, perfectly clean, very well equiped (detailed oriented). Lovely location with amazing view to the sea, perfect for stargazing, absolutely quiet even close to the road. Amazing garden, and good parking spot. This is such an authentic place with such an authentic host that we are sure that we will return in the near future!! This is the best place to stay in Crete and best host you can wish to have in your stay. Thank you Natassa!

The house is very beautuful with amazing view of the sea. We arrived on New Years Day with my wife and my two young children and we had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and warm and the hostess is very hospitable. She offered us food, wine, raki and she had decorated a Christmas tree. We lit the fireplace and the whole house had a magical beauty. We really enjoyed our stay at home and at the village we found supermarket and taverna open. We highly recommend Kleopatra' s house not only for summer but for winter destination also. Thank you Kleopatra for this unique experience!
