Blue Harmony Hotel is a seaside hotel in Kini village, offering panoramic views and high quality services. It is located directly on the Kini Beach. Blue Harmony Hotel was absolutely stunning. The property and rooms are updated and designed beautifully and the proprietor, Anna Maria is so lovely and accommodating. Her and her staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is exceptional. She gave us great recommendations of things to do and see on Syros - such a beautiful island! The breakfast is absolutely fantastic as well - homemade marmalades, cakes and omelettes. The location of the hotel in Kini can’t be beat as you are just steps from the beach if you want to relax or a 12-15 minute drive to Ermoupoli if you want explore. Our room had an incredible view of the sea and watching the breathtaking sunset every night from our balcony felt like a dream. We would stay here again in an instant and have already recommended a visit to Syros and this hotel to everyone we know. Thank you so much Anna Maria and Blue Harmony Staff we will be seeing you again soon!
Aphrodite Boutique Hotel is set on the beachfront in Kinion. Featuring a terrace, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. The Aphrodite Hotel is not exactly a "boutique hotel" (don't expect a modern building with exquisite artwork and a cool vibe) but it is an excellent place, with perfect location (situated in a street perpendicular to the water front, about 100 feet from the beach). The staff went out of their way to be helpful and the breakfast had a great mix of Greek specialties and more continental food. We were traveling with a 2-year old and it was great (there is a mini-refrigerator and a kettle in the room that help with preparing snacks for a child).
Kini Bay is a traditional Cycladic-style property located in Kini Village, approximately 8 km from Ermoupoli Town. Its verandas offer views of the Aegean Sea and the sunset. Our host Giannis was amazing, he contacted us before our arrival with information of how to get to the property and met us on arrival. We got upgraded which was great. The room had everything you could need. Amazing terrace with views of the beach and sunset.
Only 150 metres from Kini Beach, Ligaries is set amidst a well-tended garden with seating areas and sun terraces. It features air-conditioned rooms and studios with free Wi-Fi. Great location close to the beach in Kini and tavernas. Mini market virtually next door too. Comfortable room with large balcony and nicely tended gardens. Kiki and Iosef are great hosts and very helpful. Kini beach is nice with loungers available although be warned it gets very busy at the weekend.
Located in the awarded with blue flag beach of Kini, Hotel Pino di Loto offers suites overlooking the Aegean. Free private parking and free Wi-Fi are available to all guests. The suites are very exclusive and private and spotlessly clean. The staff are always wonderfully welcoming and helpful and the breakfast is delicious with lots of local produce as treats!
Set in Kinion, 1.4 km from Delfini Beach, Guesthouse ERI offers accommodation with a terrace and free private parking. The guest house features family rooms. Renovated apartment, decorated and equipped with care. Lovely hosts making sure we needed everything. Excellent sea views. Within walking distance from the beach and everything you need. It does have good internet although not stated.
Anemos and Almyra offers accommodation with a terrace in Delfini. All accommodation offers sea views and unique sunsets from their balcony or terrace. We felt like in paradise at Anemos and Almyra. Everythings was just wonderful, we loved the cosy and beautyfully decorated apartment and of course the stunning view of the bay and the tremendous sunsets. Ilias and Leonardo are very gentle, gave us a lift from the port on arrival and return, and almost everyday we found a surprise like baskets ful of figs and grapes from their own lands in our place. Last not least everything was spotless, and the room was made every day, sheets and towels changed every second. We also loved Delfini beach, in our opinion the nicest beach on Syros, as it is beautyfully located and has a very relaxed and quiet atmosphere. There is a public beach, with some umbrellas and deckchairs you can take for free, or otherwise a small and quiet taverna that lends deckchairs. You can even just hang out the whole day in the shadow of the beachbar, as many locals do. The beach can be reached in minutes by scooter or even walking if you don’t mind to make your way up to the hill. But you will need a scooter or car anyway to do grocery as the next shop is in kini.

On average, 3-star hotels in Kinion cost £0 per night, and 4-star hotels in Kinion are £0 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Kinion can on average be found for £0 per night (based on Booking.com prices).
Winding roads crisscross this uniquely hilly Cyclades island, and here on the west coast you can find the best sunsets. The horseshoe cove of Kini beach is the main attraction IMHO having stayed here and travelled up the coastline (by boat to some quiet beaches) and down (by bus) on way round to the capital. With soft fine sand and just the right amount of tavernas and tourists to retain the Greek feel, it's a good place to stay for 3-5 days.
Very traditional chilled out Greek resort ....?only a few restaurants and one bar, so don’t expect a strip! If you want chilled out times on a quiet beach with the most perfect sea, you will love this place
Beautiful, compact village, with a choice of beaches - fairly peaceful & too overrun with tourists. Some wonderful restaurants and cafes, plus a local fresh fish market, although I didn't get the chance to see it open. Warm, welcoming people with a nice balance of friendly locals and holiday makers from all walks of life. Peaceful haven, only 20 minutes bus from the city of Ermoupolis.
Kini is a small little village 20 minutes from main resort & port. The beach is fabulous & great for families with safe waters & a sandy beach. Plenty of sunbeds & umbrella's if you like this sort of thing. Our favourite place to eat was Aeriko - fabulous food and Marko was very friendly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Sunbeds were also good & you got coffee, water, croissant & sunbed for 5 Euro's.
Great little seaside town with organised sheltered sandy beach. Great tavernas and a few relaxing bars to suit all tastes and budgets. Great for families and couples and mature singles looking for relaxation.
Kini is a great beach resort. We went as a family of four with a 9 and a 13 year old. The hotels are mostly a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. You can find everything from club sandwiches and souvlaki, to the full seafood and meat menus. The beach is well equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas, although you don't pay for them, you are expected to buy a coffee or drink while you use them. There is an aquarium just up the road on the left side of the beach, it's 2 euros for adults and free for children. We spent about an hour there and really enjoyed it. We also went walking along the cliff on the right hand side of the bay, there are steps up from the port through the houses. It's a beautiful walk, you can go all the way along to Delfini beach. You will need proper shoes though, at least trainers. The sunset is right in front of Kini bay so make sure to enjoy it. There are regular buses into Ermoupoli from the water fountain in front of the beach or you can call a taxi, it's about 10 Euro into town. There's one mini market that has bakery goods brought in every morning but you need to get there early as they run out (or ask them the night before to keep something back for you - can recommend the bougatsa which is a sweet cream pastry pie).
The suites are very exclusive and private and spotlessly clean. The staff are always wonderfully welcoming and helpful and the breakfast is delicious with lots of local produce as treats!
