Beautiful hotel and pool was amazing. Delicious breakfast. View is spectacular from all angles especially our balcony. Peaceful. Clean. I love how this is family owned and our needs were met. Owner even gave us an umbrella to borrow for the beach. We've stayed at other places and liked this one the best. Easy parking on property. A few minutes drive to bay and beaches. I also highly suggest eating at The Picnic restaurant walking distance down the street.

I've been to many countries and four Greek islands, and I can honestly say Vervekis Apartments is one of the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. The location is perfect: high on a hill in the quiet village of Mesovounia, wonderfully peaceful, yet only a 15-minute drive from Fiskardo and even closer to Assos and some beautiful beaches. The apartment was spotless and had absolutely everything you could need. You can tell it's looked after with real love. But what makes this place so special is the owner. I have never experienced such warm, genuine hospitality anywhere. I didn't feel like a guest for a single second – I felt like family. This place genuinely has a soul. The moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and how welcome you are, and it feels like home. I'd come back in a heartbeat, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Kefalonia.
