When we arrived, we discovered that the villa we had booked was already occupied by other guests. The owner's husband simply took us to a neighboring villa as though nothing was wrong. It was clearly not of the same standard (e.g., it consisted of two separate units, one without a balcony; less isolated, with noise from the neighboring pool; less attractive outdoor areas; no BBQ grill; balconies of neighboring guests and the owners overlooking our pool; limited view of the valley; no internet for most of our stay). More importantly, it was not the accommodation we had chosen. There was no apology, no explanation, and no acknowledgment of the mistake. Throughout our conversation, he introduced himself as a member of the cleaning staff rather than identifying himself as the owner's husband. He also spoke to us in a dismissive and condescending manner, wearing an inappropriate smirk despite the situation. I understand that overbookings can happen, but what was unacceptable was the complete lack of transparency, accountability, or even a simple apology. The property consistently downplayed the situation as though it were perfectly normal, and we had to fight for a fair resolution. After four hours of discussions and an exhausting mediation process with Booking.com, we obtained a 35% refund (excluding taxes and fees). Unfortunately, this attitude continued throughout our stay. On the second day, the owner's husband removed the drying rack we were using without asking. When we contacted the office to ask why, he came to our villa visibly angry and confrontational. Having already dealt with enough unnecessary stress, I simply told him to keep the drying rack and end the discussion. The overbooking itself was disappointing, but it was the way we were treated that made this experience so negative. The owners never acknowledged their mistake or showed any genuine concern for the inconvenience they caused, which significantly affected our vacation.

Excellent villa! The host was very friendly and everything we asked for was provided to us. The jacuzzi is excellent especially in the evening hours. Very clean villa. The location is quiet. The villa is for lovers of rest and quiet. I highly recommend it!
