Very big apartment completely dedicated to us with access to the pool. The location is very convenient for Samaria Gorge and it is in reach of nearby restaurants. The location is perfect, very quiet and beautifully surrounded by nature.

Such a lovely little place. Rooms are large and clean. Make sure to take a step outside your room in the evening to see the stars. The restaurant attached is also wonderful and the owners were beyond helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The place is beautiful, all stone, with large windows opening onto the mountains. It feels calm, warm, and very well thought out. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. There was a carafe of red wine waiting on the table, a plate of Christmas cookies, and even a Greek spirit in the fridge. Little touches like that make a big difference. The apartment was decorated for the holidays and it was really lovely. Inside, it’s spread over two floors, with two large, bright rooms. Everything felt comfortable and cozy, especially the beds. The next morning, the host surprised us with small spinach pies, which was such a kind gesture. This is the kind of place where you instantly feel at home. As a bonus, the house cat, Julia, slipped into our unit and kept us company for the evening. Cuddling a cat definitely added to the experience.

Location is fantastic with views of the White Mountains, and the best sunsets and sunrises. The apartment was very beautiful, with hand painted furnishings (by our talented host) and art to enjoy. Our hosts were lovely and being there at the height of the growing season, they generously supplied us with tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden, to supplement the basic ingredients provided in the kitchenette (oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, vinegar). There's a washing machine on the terrace, and everything dries in no time. The gorgeous terrace was the main reason we booked and it did not disappoint; there were comfortable shaded areas for lounging, and even cats to play with. Chania is about 30 minutes' drive, with a street market on Thursday and Saturday - go early! The nearest beaches are about 30 minutes' drive as well. Do check out the local winery and the botanical gardens; both excellent for a tour and lunch. We hope to visit again.

Sofia and Adonis are wonderful hosts, extremely helpful and welcoming but you have your privacy. The house is decorated with so much love to each detail. It is very elegant, cousy and clean (you can‘t find even dust anywhere). The view from the window and terace is simply breathtaking. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Very nice little hotel, romantic style. Close to the beach and the best sea view from the balcony. Breakfast served at the bar at the beach - the most wonderful and delicious homemade breakfast. The staff vere so nice and friendly. We will come back to this nice village and enjoy this breathtaking spot at the end of Samaria gorge!

Our stay at Kanadia Paradise was amazing. If you want to spend time in the mountains, away from people, with breathtaking mountain views and even more beautiful sunsets, I highly recommend it. Everything was perfect. The owners are very kind, they put their heart into this place, and I wish them all the best with their growing business. The entire hotel is new. Everything was spotless. Flawless. If I ever return to Crete, I will definitely stay here again, because it was truly something special. I will gladly cherish the memories of the time spent here for a long time. The breakfast was excellent as well. We also had dinner at the restaurant connected to the accommodation, and we can only recommend it, everything was delicious.

Most importantly the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Most importantly the staff were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help with planning our walk on the Samaria gorge hike and made us feel welcome. We stayed just 2 nights - before the walk and after - which I highly recommend doing. The rooms were so dark and quite and had very comfortable beds so we rested very well. Also, we had to change our dates of the booking, which they did for us without any cost or complication - which was a big plus. Definitely recommend it as a great place to stay in that area.

Beautiful, high, and quite challenging mountains.

Beautiful, high, and quite challenging mountains. Tiresome climbs and falling rocks, but beautiful views at the peaks. Trail markings are poor, with plenty of goats and sheep everywhere. In September, there are relatively few tourists. Even the Samaria Gorge is deserted after the ascent around 12 noon!

A small, charming hotel just before the Samaria Gorge. The service was excellent despite the very low prices. The owners were very attentive to their guests. At €30, the overnight price including breakfast was practically a steal. Highly recommended. There was absolutely nothing to complain about.
