Surprised me and my wife! The location, and standard of the hotel is amazing for the area! Just far enough away from the busy Platanias centre, but close enough to take advantage of the food options in the evening! The hotel was calm (the adults only limitation helped) and the staff were super friendly and helpful when needed! They also weren’t too “up themselves” - I felt at home

We booked this property for the last couple of days of our holiday so that the we could relax while the kids played. It was very nice and very clean. The breakfast had a large variety of food and was all done very well.

really beautiful and Stylish complex of suites, with a large and clean swimming pool! the rooms were spacious and modern! the cleaning staff were professional and kept our place clean! the staff responded to our requests with courtesy and willingness!

This is definitely the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The room itself is very spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows, and a large terrace with a stunning view of the pool and the sea. The hotel is located across the road from the first line, and within 5 minutes, you can already be at the beach. The breakfasts are very tasty and varied, and the staff is friendly. There was an option to pay extra for all-inclusive, but it wasn’t necessary for us. There are nice cafés and restaurants nearby. In the evening, there was sometimes entertainment for children, but after 11 PM, the hotel was very quiet. If I visit Agia Marina again, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

Marina Sands is a very cozy and pleasant 2 star hotel. The hotel is 60 meters from the beach and between the rooms and the beach is the pool with a restaurant that serves both cold and hot dishes as well as snacks and beer/drinks. The rooms are designed in an older standard, my bathroom had, for example, a bathtub and a shower curtain which you cannot normally count on in Crete. The furniture in the room are an older type but functional. modern television. My hotel booking included AC and a safe. So when you book, check if AC is included or not, otherwise the cost will be added.if your want to have a AC. The breakfast consists of a few types of bread. different marmalades. 2 different Mortladella sausages and cheese. Tomato and cucumber..Boiled egg. Greek Yoghurt with honey or with preserved fruit. Melon. Coffee/Tea and 3 juices. The hotel area consists of 2-storey buildings with narrow corridors with well-kept beautiful vegetation Lot of the hotel guests are coming back year after year.so it also means that the hotel delivers much quality to be a 2 star hotel. But in my eyes it is at least a 3 star hotel. I will be back

Great hotel in a perfect location, we had all the necessary stuff in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great pool in the cozy backyard. We also recommend the resturant that the owners have.

As always, we had the best time! Lovely and always helpful staff, great facilities, private pool is such a highlight! Our room was spacious, beds comfortable. Towels changed and room cleaned on a daily basis if needed. Delicious Greek food in the tavernas around! The locals are so kind and welcoming. You really can't ask for more.
