The location was not on the main road but this is what we wanted. Quiet, clean close to Sami town (less than 10 mins). Central access to main roads To go anywhere on the island. The view is great. The staff were really nice and helped us out with questions, directions and anything we needed. The kids were able to play in the front yard/parking area. Everything was nicely setup for us and ready to go. Free wifi included. Definitely would recommend and would come back when we visit the island again. Thank you Κυρία Ουρανία and staff.

Sami gave me what I wanted, small, quiet resort but with plenty of restaurants, cafes and a few shops/ bakeries. Fatto a Mano has the best spanikopita! Scenery was beautiful, harbour very pretty. Good middle base for visiting all parts of Kefalonia, right near Melisanni and Drogarati caves. Sami centre has lots of nice restaurants. Adonis was our favourite. Great beach Antisamos is nearby. Myrtos beach about 25 mins away in car. Showers on beach a nice touch. Pretty private coves, good snorkelling, clear turquoise waters. Lots of friendly cats 🐱 Had a beautiful holiday.

Sami is the main ferry port so is ideal for access to other islands. There is no beach only a narrow stretch of shingle There are numerous Tavernas along the harbour edge which are very pleasant and enable watching of the boats. - 10

Sami is a great place to stay. Lots of great cafes and restaurants by the harbour. Lovely views. Good beaches and lots to explore nearby if you have a car. The hotel was great, very helpful host, comfortable room with great views, parking, near the harbour and ferry port.

We visited 3 locations over a 3 week stay
We visited 3 locations over a 3 week stay Lassi, Skala then Sami, to have a base to to explore Kefalonia easier. Which we feel worked out perfectly. Sami was great, we hired a Boat from 'Compass Renta boat' on two occasions - very nice people - would 100% recommend them. Used the boat to visit Ithaki.

Sami was a perfect base for North if the Island . Alancia Suites are perfect . Plenty of places to eat and drink . Supermarkets were good . Places to hire cars, bikes etc . Lovely walks along promenade and marina Local beaches pebbled but lovely .clean and plenty of space . More popular beaches close by .

It’s in an old building so it never felt horribly hot and we didn’t hear the neighbours apart from the odd door closing. The location is good, near supermarkets and all the restaurants. Parking was no problem. There are some great walks nearby. We appreciated the drinks and snacks left by the host. Everything was very clean, a little old round the edges but a perfect site to walk to small beach or the cafes and restaurants/shops. Sami has everything you need for a nice holiday and Antisamos was 10 mins by car for a great beach with facilities. Was useful to have a car and parking was free and available outside apartment. Very clean and tidy, pool was cleaned during our stay. Nice outdoor kitchen area which had brick built BBQ and Pizza oven. Lady that owns the Villa was lovely. Easy drive to local towns where there were ample places to park (for free). Numerous restaurants and local food stores. Was a little too far to walk if hot.
