This hotel and town are perfect me. Rooms are beautiful and very comfortable (beds have a soft top, water is always warm, and a/c and wifi are excellent). The hotel is in a quiet location only 2-3 minutes walk from the heart of the center and the harbor. Rooftop terrace is exceptional (my favorite!), with 360-degree view of the town, the port, the sea, the mountains, and the sunset - my preferred spot for morning coffee or an evening drink. For me, an adventurer who likes a base from which to make day-trips to explore the island and region, Sami is the perfect location. All of Kefalonia is easily accessible from Sami (from Argostoli it's not as easy), and the port of Sami offers many ferries and excursions through the region - also with direct connections to the mainland. I love coming back to Sami and this hotel every day and relaxing after my adventures. Eleni and her family and staff are great people, always hospitable, available, and knowledgeable - and they're very patient while I attempt to speak some Greek :) I originally booked only one night, and then when my plans changed, I chose to stay also the rest of the week, having discovered this excellent hotel and town. I hope to return again next year with my friends for more. Thank you, Eleni.
